Why do some people say that astrology is evil?
My dad is a jehovah witness and is so conditioned and groomed by the faith that anything different that questions the bible or god is met with prejudice. Its like a game and the rules are simple if its not in the bible or doesn't come out of the pastors mouth then its probably the devil trying to convert and send you to hell.
Anything to do with magic whether it be good or bad is the devils influence on you trying to obtain gods power, thats why its perceived as evil I guess.
Astrology has been around forever, it was astronomy before it became a science churches even try to demonise science because evolution disproves the bible.

Because astrology looks to something other than the sweet baby jebus for answers. Astrology is the devil!
1. some say that would lead to prejudice.
2. some say science does not approve it.
3. some ask who where how decides what Pluto in a chart brings.
4. some say sign placements in the sky have changed over time.
5. some say, "I know a Libra who is not like this at all".
6. some say, "Why should I waste time on sombeody's placements, aspect, houses and astroids? I simply take time to know the person in real life".
7. some say, "for what is Astrology predictions good if it speaks only of trends. I smell the trends by myself"
8. some say, "do you know anyone who used Astrology and found Ms. right?".
9. some say there is a 13th sign in the sky. Why does Astrology not use it?

11. some ask "so if the Chart makes murderer then everybody with the same Chart has to be a murderer?".
12. some say, "I cannot imagine that millions of people born under the same sign have the same character traits".

There's no science beyond it but it is used to solve conflicts. For some it works. Others say it is dangerous cause there was a case who somebody took his life after such a session.
My Aqua gf has learned it and she says it is like you get the possibility to see the same affair from another point of view.
I extend it to Astrology.
All those texts of Astrology are nothing without me. Right after I read them and apply them to some persons, relationships and events, right then they get a meaning. That says we are selective when we read those texts. As if we had an opinion and needed just an approvement from higher powers.
When I know a Scorpio who talks surprisngly a lot, I look at his chart and search for Sagittarius there. So I say that must be the reason. Do I know by this how easy or difficult my relationship with him will be? No. Cause I never know which part will be acting at any given point of time. I have to handle them like others who know nothing about Astrology. So I cannot tell my engineer friends how I have a better life (via Astrology) than them.

i gave my whole family a birth chart reading and most were surprised on how immersed i was in astrology. I also learned that my aunt 90 y/o deceased used to also do readings and she could make bibles spin. people who contact her all over the US. i wish she were still alive. id like to learn anything from her.

But OP doesn't ask why some disrespect it.. OP asked why some people think it's *evil.* Because religions say so is a valid answer. Absolutely correct.

most importantly astrology binds many people without them even knowing it, with chains that limits them to get
things that they want sometimes, because they unconsciously believe something cant work out between certain signs, or that they are suppoused to feel a way today and another tomm, this does not mean that astrology isnt real.. it just means that you have to be careful with it.. you might feel that way but just by knowing that today is gonne be shitty can turn into an even shittier one,.. it is a curse.. that gives you insight but puts a cross on many,
it can also be used to manipulate others if they are not aware of it's work, symbols of the star signs are also used in the works of aleister crowley to enhance magic, the same man who paved the way for many of the modern time's grimoires
i only use astrology for signs i never whent fhurtur as to using them in the arts of the occult. even the great king solomon who (by the power and grace of God ) sealed away the most demons, found out from which constelations they were and which was their target and controlled them eventually. fell, we are are susceptible to corruption. he was a wise man but he still fell. so please do be careful..

Yeah astrology is as predictive as a weather forecast.
Chance of Rain. Chance of getting into legal trouble.
They're the same time that think praying to god for stuff is what prayer is about.
What is actually is being ACTIVE and doing Work.
But yeah...they get scared and throw bible passages out of context or ask what would jesus do for any time their view is questioned/challenged.
