Dune

Is there anyone else that is currently reading or has read this amazing series?

Right now I'm on Children of Dune. Don't you feel its one of those things that can go on forever because it is less about the story and more about philosophy and an analysis of events. There is so much interesting symbolism in it. What sign do you think Muad'Dib is? What about Alia?

Oh my gosh though it is so cool. Frank Herbert had such big balls to write something like that. Muad'Dib can see the future because he makes the future, and he is able to do that because he has inherited so much good karma from his family. What happens once that good karma gets used up? How do you maintain the good energy of your blood line? Sacrifice. And that is the drama of Dune.

I tried reading it when i was like 14 and it was way over my head and I bought it again not long ago but my older brother said i got the wrong one! just to be sure the first book that I should be reading starts off when he has to put his hand in the black box and has the tom jabber at his neck—_??_I read somewhere that its the sic fi version of lord of the rings??_I tried reading lord of the rings fuck i got over that quick..
Of all the types of books to read I love scifi solo much I finished reading enders game and I loved it!

The first Dune book I picked up was Butlerian Jihad lol
