Cancer and Aries Relationships

I'm an Aries myself...Why do we not last?

Sensitivity and impatience mostly in my experience i.e. Aries needs freedom to express actions or words outwordly. Cancer expresses internally...Aries shoots off, hurts cancer's feelings, cancer crawls into shell, ram keeps poking, crab further withdraws and ram feels hurt at the lack of attention from crab and quickly moves on.

Cancer internal/silent expression is interpeted as manipulation by ram and ram does not like to be controlled any way.

Both are cardinal signs so both wants to lead the situation somehow.

Both are also impatient in different ways...

Usually works if the ram is the more quiet type and cancer is a little less sensitive - moon, venus and other planet placements would help too...when it works it can be really good.

if you are looking to learn about yourself through struggling and frustration, jump right in. i see this combo come together a lot. brief affairs are good, serious relationships are a waste of time. these two are not very accepting of each other.

My first bf was a Cancer. He was just too clingy for me. It probably had to also do with the fact that he was a lot older and was looking to "settle down." We still talk and are good friends, but the more I know him as a friend, the more I see why a relationship didn't work out. Also, he was very whiny and pessimistic, preferring to whine about why he couldn't do something instead of actually TRYING to see if he could. I actually threatened to leave him if he didn't go and finish college (he literally had one more class to go). He later admitted that he probably would still be finding excuses not to have finished college. I need a go-getter and I need some space, and not saying all Cancers are the same, but his need for security and "home" kind of chafed me. :/

Usually works best as business partners

because most cancer men are cheap and stingy @ss hell and aries woman like to be wined and dined....and we are not stingy...so the two just dont connect

In my experience with Cancer and Aries I think that,

Aries are loud and energetic... Cancers are quiet and observant.

Aries loves attention... Cancers are low keyed.

Aries loves activity and new adventures... Cancers loves the house and new recipes.

Aries can't always relate to the "confinement" of family ties and children... Cancers crave family ties and children.

Cancer is a homebody... Aries may have a hard time adapting to staying at home.

Aries will bash the sensitive and emotional Cancer, causing the crab to resort into their shell and the Ram to annoyingly try to break through it, causing further conflict.

Too much fire from the Aries can evaporate the Cancer's water and too much water from the Cancer can dampen Aries fire.

From experience, the pairing can be difficult, but just like anyone else, with the understanding and patience of eachother's individual traits, the two can probably make a favourable union.

Ive been dealing with an aries guy and its cool. I think we balance each other out. It helps that he has venus in cancer. Also, my best friends have always been aries, so, i can read them like a book. Aries and cancers are both leaders and us cancers tend to give in more often. My aries guy has been there for me during all my roller coaster moments. He's a hardass, he checks me and I love it! It maybe a different dynamic with aries women and cancer men....

i think friendship levels are very different from a relationship level. friend are suppose to be there for you no matter what but in a relationship the expectations are different. i'm an aries with cancer moon and i can tell the difference of my 2 signs within myself... i hate it.. so different and opposit characteristics. i prefer aries side more.

I know what you're saying. My relationship with an aries man is not just not friendship its also intimate. I will say that he is my friend first. I know all about aries people....i read ya'll like a book!!!! I know that ya'll have a sensitive side...you're not as hard as you seem. Things get to you quicker than a cancer. Aries people are more direct with their emotions. Aries' go from 0 to 1,000 in a split second. You too wear your heart on your sleve.
IMO, i would be more cautious of an aries person with a moon in cancer, i can only imagine the energy that you put off.....you may think that im way off but cancer folks are not punks....we just know how to simmer on our feelings......and than the claws come out...this is just my opinon...

I'm a cancer girl who had a sexual relationship w/a Cancer guy and he was ridiculously cheap. I'm so giving and when I putt he puzzle together, I had no problems NOT looking back.

But as for a Cancer/Aries relationship...my bestfriend girl is an Aries...we have different views on MANY MANY MANY things...but at the end of the day...I couldn't imagine my life w/out her and vise-versa. Sometimes I feel she's clingy but I've sort of accepted it. I'm pretty sure in a relationship it's way different because my good friend Cancer (who's pretty much like a sister to me) is seeing an Aries male and she cannot STAND him...unfortunately. "He's too pushy...touchy...n overbearing like a damn kid". Wants to spend everything second w/her but she likes her space so it really depends on the individual at the end of the day I suppose.
Respect & Compromise can make anything work IMO.
