Cancer man

So I need help with a cancer man because I haven't known him long but I found him attractive while I was dating my last boyfriend. After we broke up I told him I liked him. We texted but he made it seem like he didn't want to talk to me but in person he was friendly and would always say hi, he told me he wanted to be friends but since I look mean he never wanted to bother me. Recently my friend told him I wanted to talk and gave him my number. He said he would talk to me but I wasn't aware until after the fact and didn't want her to do that. Now whenever I see him we don't even look in each other's direction but I don't want him to think I like him but I feel he thinks I'm a creep. What should I do?

Resting bitchface, and if he knows you recently broke up with someone will definitely work against you. Cancer men are indirect as it is. They are capable of initiating things and making an approach but ONLY if they feel safe. If you want to get the ball rolling with this guy, he does in fact NEED to know you're into him.

Also you told him you like him, but then said you didn't want your friend to make any moves for you that lets him know you like him. If you're sending mixed signals towards this crab, you won't get anywhere with him unless for some reason he likes to chase what doesn't like to get caught. Cancerians like people to play their games, but they don't like to play other people's games.

There is also a chance that he's' just not into you. If this is the case, he will be friendly when you two have to interact, but he won't initiate anything on his part to talk to you.
