Cancer with Aquarius moon in love

Ok maybe you all can give me some insight into my friend and help me with my confusion. The female crab I have mentioned before who if circumstances were right I could see us together. At the moment we are only friends and will stay that way until if she ever gets out of her current relationship. The thing I am curious about, because it does not seem very crab like based on all my friendships with them, is her disinterest or seemingly disinterest in her partner in public. She has three major placements in Cancer and an Aquarius moon.

I get that Aquarians can be aloof but all of the Aquarians I know when in love will at least seem interested or show it. I get that they treat their partners as friends I have an Aquarius Venus. She in pictures and out around town rarely poses for pictures with her Virgo partner usually they are pictured seperately. If they are in the picture together there are people between them or the Virgo may have her arm around her but the Cancer rarely does. The Virgo also often has profile pictures with them both in it but the Cancer never does only pictures of herself or a group photo of her team.

They went on a hiking trip with some friends and when pictured together they either sat separate from each other or in one that really threw me off the Virgo had her arm across Cancers lap and the Cancer looked annoyed or like she wasn't having a good time. In none of the pictures would you think they were together. You would think they were acquaintances. Is this normal for someone with an Aquarius moon? I understand treating them as a friend but I feel this is either extreme or a sign they aren't going well? Or maybe this just is really how they treat their partners? Even with my Aquarius Venus you can still tell who I am with. When I am dating somebody we will sit close or pose next to each other. I ask because I am trying to understand if this is normal like if I ever did date her is this what I should expect or is this not normal? Her partner also has an Aquarius moon which is why I am confused because she seems so much more devoted where all the Cancers I know are very devoted to their partners...

The thing is though she is very huggy and puts her arm around her best friend/manager, her co worker who is her new friend as of a few years ago. She seems more affectionate with those two than she does her own partner. Also if you look at pictures of them in the first two years of the relationship they stand next to each other, have their arms around each others shoulders or embrace way more than I see them anymore. She also hasn't seemed as playful or like she is having as much fun as when I first met her before the relationship started. When you saw her speaking in public she seemed to have way more fun and joke more... now she seems way more serious more often. She seems really back and forth the past few years mood wise. I know Cancers are moody but I have noticed they have greater or more frequent mood swings if something in their life is out of balance or not happy with something so the fact she looked annoyed or like she wasn't having that much fun in comparison to how she looks with the public or friends... not sure.

Thanks for the insight. They are one of the most confusing couples I have ever met. I didn't even know they were together for quite a while because they didn't seem like a couple or really look right together. They look awkward. Have you ever seen a couple and thought yeah they seem like they go together. I never got that in the beginning. They just seemed like basic friends so when I found out they were together I was shocked.

I think it was more because I thought that after the fact I found out they were partners. I thought? Really? They don't seem like it at all. They are the first couple I have ever come across who I couldn't tell they were together or seemed like they put more effort into being and seeming like friends rather than partners. Even Aquarius friends I have when they are with their SO you can tell they are together or are more than friends and the Aquarius girl I dated people could tell we were together. Yes relationships come in all different kinds hence why I am asking for insight into this kind of relationship haha... different than I have seen and hard to read. : )
