Cancer encountering an Aquarius

I'm curious to know how well or how bad You get along with an Aqua; whether it's a lover, friend, sibling.

Well im not bringing up past relationships because it's in the past for a reason. I think this pairing can work if both are mature & want a true loving relationship. Also if they are willing to accept each others flaws & still love each other. Mainly if the aquarius has water placements & the cancer has air placements. Both energies has to match. So it mainly depends on the individuals not their sun sign as a whole. I do like aquarius women, just don't know why i do sometimes. I guess cause i got gemini venus & aquarius in my 7th & 8th house. The only way i'd date one is if they had water placements or is very caring, affectionate & mature like me.

Also my best friend of 8yrs is an aquarius. We get along just fine most of the time. There is space sometimes, but not enough to question the friendship. I feel secure in being his friend. He might have water or earth placements. But it doesn't matter, because he is a great friend

Friends, siblings, and coworkers just fine.
Lovers, that's a pretty rough one. We operated on two different planets. Was fun while it lasted though.

Been a long time since my pal and I talked but when we do it's like we never parted. Bright girl, perky, strong aura, contagious laughter, hard drinker like me, a fighter and a total daredevil. We're kind of opposites but we're good.

I'm with one, rough path at the beginning but the connections getting stronger and easier now.
Maybe because i am an earthy-watery aqua and he is an airy-fiery cancer (?)
But i've been surrounded by bunch of cancerians. And they're the people who always be there and close to me whatsoever, i love em 😉

As a Cancer woman with prominent Leo placements I can say this can be a magical match, at least in friendship I tend to do very well with them and do find on other astrology boards surprisingly it's been fairly common for Aqua men to be attracted to Cancer women. Now it doesn't always last but I do think they like that we are expressive about our feelings and emotions and maybe deep down they want someone to give them the loving only a Cancer can . We do have a way of making people feel cared for that other signs can't quite reach.

I wouldn't entirely dismiss it especially if he has some water placements in prominent aspects. But beware they are the most detached of all the air signs and its true they are unconventional with love. Many times their action means something entirely different than how we perceive it and that cann be a issue. More likely than anything else it'll be memorable.

I know it's about Aqua m and Cancer f, but one of my friends was in this match Aqua F Cancer M, and she still loves that man to this day. But yet she isn't as detached as other Aquas, or at least she wasn't that way with him. He doted on her and, fulfilled her emotionally, and seems the feeling was mutual as they are still in touch.

Solitude isn't so much the issue it just seems like the Aqua men can take it to the extreme and without notice. I think anyone can respectfully say they need space, or to recharge etc.. Water signs do something similar only we call it "going in to a shell". We also need time to recharge and gain composure over our emotions, and get stabilized as sometimes we are overcome even if we are stone faced to the rest of the world.. Only difference is it won't be 2 months without a word, and I think we are better communicators. Many of us lay things out on the table, with the exception of Scorpio and tell us and show you where we stand. It's that black and white. Which is ironic because Air signs are the communicators they are the ones who are repped for talking you into or out of anything, and supposed to be suave with it but I just think it is a matter of us not understanding one anothers language. There seems to be a barrier we have to try extra hard to overcome to understand one another. A common issue of Air/Water.

My brother is one. I have to call him to explain what I mean when we're texting to each other. He gets so worked up when he misunderstands me. Jeez. I try to keep communication to a minimum because it's exhausting repeating the same things and correcting any misquotes. Sigh.

My sister is aqua and we usually get along great. We are both super creative and follow some of the same ideals and ideas in and about life. She has pisces moon and venus, though, so that might be part of it. Emotionally she's not as up and down as I am and can be more analytical. I've never dated aqua so I can't say how that would work.
