I'm talking about us being heavy most Cancer guys I know myself included are built like a tank we are on the thick side no not in the head. I've always been on the slight overweight I had poor eating habits but I always worked hard I was able to keep my weight in check. Then things got really out of hand the hard work I used to do changed then I couldn't control my weight I still ate like a pig. I changed things up and started eating healthy and changing the way I eat now I eat small portions of food through out the day I don't skip breakfast lunch I always ate dinner now I have my weight back in control.

Do us Cancers have troubles keeping the weight off? I have an addictive personality by that I mean I can get addicted to something mine was fatty foods and sugar a few Cancer women I know its alcohol. I used to eat till I could barely walk away from the table I used to cram the food down I don't do that anymore no more eating to excess.

I'm not addicted to healthy living getting regular exercise, not over eating and general healthier eating I've noticed I can't eat the crap I used to just makes me feel ill.

I'm healthy again I let myself go for a few years its been a long time to recover my cortisol levels were high for the last 7 years lots of pressure at work I was stress eating so I piled on the pounds. I was self employed working in construction so I kept in shape then I changed careers took a office supervisor job very little physical activity. I've returned to the construction industry I'm getting back into shape 5'-9" 192 pounds I have a little more to go I won't get much lighter I'm built heavy I have a 43 inch chest once I get a little leaner it will be 42. I'm happy I'm in shape again I've changed the way I eat no more over eating no more eating fatty foods.

I've learned what stress can do to your body gaining weight getting fat is one of them you don't realize it using food to cope before you know it you are moving up pants sizes. You shouldn't be buying bigger clothes you should be doing something about your weight so you don't have to buy bigger clothes.

Ive never had this problem 6'1 and like 170 lbs (thanks to my Scorpio and Virgo friend who push me to keep active), and I know many others who arent overweight. I'd actually say that Cancers are the least likely to be overweight just off how active we can be. So please dont attach this stigma to one sign due to your own problem. Its good that youre handling it though
The Cancers I know are a little on the heavy side it is why I asked one of the guys I grew up with is like me broad shouldered and heavy built. The Cancer women I know have troubles with weight too.

my boyfriend is 6'5, and he was 210 lbs when we met.. now.. he won't even tell me
but he is now definitely a little over weight (ok.. maybe more than little)
I was pushing 235-240 fully dressed I was probably closer to 245 I was a little heavy but keep in mind I came from the construction industry I was a well built guy then I got fat I still had muscle weight I used to be 180-185 before I porked on the weight.

I drink quite a few litres of water per day I don't keep track but its a good 8 litres I will have 500ml of Gatorade twice a week sometimes its once a week just for some sugar it does help. I may have 1/4 of a cup of Ginger ale once a week I can't drink a full can too much sugar makes me feel ill.

I don't drink tea or coffee no Alcohol either just water its all I want to drink I used to drink on average 1 litre of pop a day around 365 litres a year that works out to be 84 pounds of sugar that is disgusting. I also ate sugar in other forms either chocolate bars etc I probably ate close to 100 pounds of sugar in a year. I've cut 90% of the sugar out of my diet I've also cut out caffeine I've reduced the amount of greasy food by 90% .

You start weaning yourself off the crap surprisingly you don't crave any of it.
