Coming from a Cancer woman, Aries men are fast!

You would think that would be obvious, right?
So I had been talking to a guy for the past month online. He has a lot of character, charisma, and does not mind my moodiness (which is not as bad as it used to be. I'm a mature Cancer and can keep the stuff in check).
I just met him yesterday and he is super sweet, kind, a people person, understanding, smart, and funny. He is also hyper and probably a caffeine addict.
Well, so I was with him for about 7 hours, then he started to caress my hand and trace the lines. You see, I have a very sweet face, but I know where this was going. I just wanted him to restrain himself. He was soon doing the same thing to my wrist and lower arm and he eventually was caressing my legs a little bit. Then, he started kissing my hand; small kisses. We made out for about five minutes in which he tried to go up my shirt-- that's where I drew the line. He was pretty attentive, asking me if I was uncomfortable with this or didn't like when he that. When I stopped with at five minutes, he didn't push it.

For me, it was an experience, as I'm trying to get out of this massive shell I've built.
But, do you other female Cancers feel the same with his speed? Have you dealt with a sun sign Aries before?
I told him it would not work out because I am too slow for him and he was not willing to budge on his speed. He didn't want to have sex yet, he'd already expressed that, but even making out was too soon for me, so I'm sure when I wanted to have sex would be like years to him. Other than that he was cool. We'll be friends.
It was weird. He made me feel emotionally secure, but his speed definitely made me feel uneasy.
