New here, hello! Thanks in advance for any advice ?

Basically I have been in a complicated situation with this cancer guy for around 8 months, met him through work (still work together). He's younger then me, Cancer Sun & I know his Venus is Gemini. I am a Leo sun, Aries Moon, Venus Virgo.

Just wondering, is it normal for a cancer male to say things (make things up) to get a reaction out of you or see how you will react? We've been sexually and emotionally involved for a while now, it seems at times it gets very intense then he just slowly backs away and then comes back eventually it's an endless cycle of confusion to me, he's textbook cancer. Will not for the life of him tell me how he really EVER feels, basically just gave up on this. We recently got into a little fight I confronted him about something and he crawled into his shell. It was getting to the point it was so awkward at work he would pout, ignore me, but then he'd turn around and he's hanging around me, walking by me just doing obvious things to be around me at work. I apologized for acting the way I did and it's not been the same since. It's like he's playing hard to get and now today when he finally did talk to me I asked him how he was doing to which he tells me he's moving out of state ? I just feel like I'm not anything to him. I'm not sure if this is just another game or what, I'm honestly tired of trying to figure this guy out.

I am a cancer sun, gem Venus as well. And yup, I do this. Mental gymnastics at its finest! The things I say though are not necessarily made up, or full-on lies. An example would be I would say something along the lines that a girl flirted with me at Starbucks, and gave me her number. This is indeed true, but happened well before we started dating.

Mentioning something like moving out of state, or away from your proximity I would only say if I am desperately trying to get a certain kind of reaction out of you. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy for the crab: They are indirect, and they want a certain reaction out of you. When it doesn't happen, you are blamed for not reading them correctly, and then they shut you out.

Crabs aren't the best communicators, and often don't say how they really feel. When they feel secure they will come out with it, but not a moment before. If you care about this guy, and he cares about you, the lines of communication need to open up, and he needs to be direct.
