I don't understand how the Scorpios get bitter. Most Cancers can communicate and talk things out I think Scorpio clams up and backs up most of the time. Though Cancers can also be non-verbal and sulk. I can say this match although can be so good has its challenges and its hard to see why they exist or are even big enough to effect a match with such potential. I think talking is key, but the scorpio doesn't really do that and it can't be forced out of them they brood it out until they come to their own conclusion in their mind that may not be the case at all.
There's always been a weird attraction to Scorpionnes, but apart from that special one, I didn't like them that much. They're not always cute, either. It's not like they're all femmes fatales. I think in the end it's a bad connection that will end in horrible depression for a Cancer unless handled correctly. Needless to say I didn't handle my Scorpio very well. Cancer's love affection, they love to receive it and they love to give it. Scorpios can only take so much affection before they feel like it is too much and they need space, Cancer won't like giving that space and it will make them move in even harder pushing the Scorpio away. The immediate connection you feel will be like nothing before. You will feel like you have known them forever and that they are perfect for you in every way. Reality is that they can't take as much affection as you are going to want to give and the way my Scorpio put it "even when you backed off I could tell you were holding back I could see it in your eyes". My advice, if you are a cancer that can give someone space even though it might feel painful go for it, if you want to shower someone with affection you are going to get burned and badly.

I can mot comment about the materialistic side but they are definitely power-hungry freaks...they can talk for hours about their mayor uncle whom they admire and i have to listen that BS because ironically they trust me their "secrets".

No one doubts this, it's the opposite that's a problem.

lol, i'm a cancer male dating my scorpio girlfriend for about a year and a month now. umm yeah there are ups and downs, but it's expected in any relationship. besides having a straight and normal relationship can be boring without some conflicts. i've never cheated on my gf and i trust my girlfriend that she hasn't cheated on me either. it's a good match, i don't regret it one single bit. yeah we get mood swings and are emotional.
