Venus in Cancer...very sensitive/sentimental in terms of love. Once you have a soft spot for someone do you tend to always harbor those feelings even for years? What if you are in a relationship with someone, will you tend to still think about the "one that got away"? Even if that person and you never really officially dated?

If, I love you, I love you! I struggle letting go and it truly is my worst enemy, I have found that I tolerate so much crap, until, I just can't anymore. It takes a lot for me to get attached, though. Just thinking of someone I love leaving me or me leaving them hurts inside.

I had to disconnect from my bff of 26yrs and I still hurt from that, when I think of it. It's going on a year and half. Idk... My bff with Venus in Cancer is the same. We just struggle to let go if someone has been in our life for very long periods of time and shared our home with us, or been a part of our family.

Wow, 26 years? That would be hard...I tend to hold on to peeps that made a dent in my heart, and others I can just let go...But what about if you really liked someone but because of situations/not right timing..you never really dated further then hanging out, a few kisses..would you always wonder? Would you always have at least a small flame burning for that person? I mean as long as you never found "the one"?

To answer your question from my own experience, YES! I could move on, be in a completely happy relationship and still think about that person. It really depends how deep that person infiltrates my heart, mind and soul, though.

So I hear

Dang it!! I have a feeling you might be correct. However, my logical side always argues the loudest about the why's of it not working. I'm usually very conflicted about returning to someone that has proven they can't love me the way I need to be loved or vice versa. Or they aren't trustworthy..

That's where it hurts knowing you love someone but can't be with them.
