well ive got a week before i go which means ill be thinking about it all week. i traveled for work for a year and a half and im good at it but its hard on me. i still dont want to travel anymore, but they dangled a really big job in front of me and of course there is alot of money to be made. even though my heart isnt in it, i feel that to pass this opportunity up would be doing a great injustice to my goals and financial security.

Hi ci7!
That would be challenging for anyone, I would think...
to be away from home (and away from security blankets! LOL) for that long! But, at the same time...it does sound exciting! I suppose that wears off though...

Most people think Aquarians prefer to be on the go...but, I really prefer hanging with my friends and/or family at home...however, I can be ready to 'go' at a moments notice!

Wish you well!

Love and Light,
Star

well, im starting to feel better about this trip. i guess it wont be so bad. i bought a laptop, so ill kinda still feel connected. ive got two helpers going also, who both happen to be aquarians. they seem happy where ever they are, so that will keep me positive. and yes, i do find it exciting to travel and see new things, its just a lot of work that goes along with it. im sure nobody cares, but for wb, im a flooring contractor(ceramic tile). theres palm trees outside my window now but by monday ill be looking at the rocky mountains. thanks star and wb for caring enough to respond, thats why i like coming here.

cj7, gosh I am so sorry to hear about your injury...get well soon. If it makes you feel any better I just had a "sympathy pain" for you when I read that (lol). At least you're home, it seemed to me you never were all that thrilled that you had to leave in the first place.

Yes, I am in a slight frenzy (hehe). I've always liked Cancers, and it was funny when you said that your best relationships were with Scorpios because now that I think of it, the best relationships I had were with Cancers. It's sort of like that Joni Mitchell song (funny enough she's a scorp) "You Don't Know What You've Got Til It's Gone" or whatever the title is. Except I'm not talking about the industrialization of America. LOL. You know what I mean.

Well, you poor thing, I hope you feel better...

thanks for the sort of flowers phoenix. its the effort that counts. well as for the injury, that happened at work. trying to put flooring down on a commercial jobsite can be very difficult sometimes. there could be up to 75 people running around a jobsite trying to do thier job and none of them care about your work. u can block rooms off with caution tape or two by fours, go to lunch and by the time u get back someone has moved your barriacades or tape and walked on a tile floor that has finished setting yet. i get very aggressive in these situations because they show a total disregard for my work, which being a perfectionist, i take very seriously. anyways, we had quarry tile going in the consession and kitchen areas and the electricans had rolled a lift in to the kitchen. (which is a mobile platform that wieghs five thousand pounds easy) once tile goes on the floor these are not allowed to be operated because of the damage they can do to the floor. so one of my guys came and got me and upon seeing what they were doing i proceded to sort of politely tell them to get it the hell out of there. which in return they told me to f-off. now im not a person to look for a arguement but i will not back down when one comes to me.(mars in aries kinda thing) there was five of them so in turn i was argueing with five people at once which i guess wasnt very smart being that im 5'6" and 155. i think it was a group collective energy which manifested though the one of them with the quickest temper and basically he slammed me into a wall that had copper pipes sticking out of it for plumbing. it happened pretty quick and i wasnt expecting it so it was pretty hard to defend it. he landed on top of me so i grabbed his hands so he couldnt sucker punch me. then the rest of the electricans grabbed him and me to back us off. i filed a police report but the electricans stuck together and said that i hit him first and are covering there asses. i stuck around for a couple days to see if i could deal with the pain but it was impossible, which sucks because we were about to start the front lobby, which was worth about twenty grand. well thats the long short version. i would have responded earlier but i got these pain killers and they work very well.(hehe)

cj7, that is like something out of a movie. I can't believe those guys had the nerve to do that! Especially since they were in the wrong in the first place. And you had every right to put your foot down (and even went out of your way to be polite about it, which you didn't need to do). Unfortunately they had a mob mentality thing going on with the whole situation, and now none of them are men enough to tell the real story. Good for you on filing a police report. At least now they have that sort of thing out there so if they pull that crap again the cops will know they've had problems in the past. I also can't believe people would be that rude to just disregard barricades, jeez. Now, what is your exact job title? I'm getting the idea that you do flooring and things like that but are you the head guy or are you part of a team of some sort?

Hope you're feeling better (would that be Vicodan that you're taking for painkillers? Careful with that stuff; it can be very addictive from what I've seen with other people taking it) 🙂

You're welcome for the "sort of flowers" LOL.

TTYL/get some rest.

hey phoenix, yep the whole situation kinda sucks. luckly ive got some time to get over it mentally and physically. i dont take failure very well, and even though this isnt my fault, i still feel like i failed.
my title hmm... iam a independant tile contractor. i install ceramic tile and marble. im setup as a small business corp. which gives me the freedom to work for who ever i want to. at home i do work for residential customers, builders, and contractors. the company that i go out of town for is in maryland. if i wanted he would keep me busy all the time but the traveling thing gets real old. its not the life style that i want to live. it had been about a year since i stopped traveling that he called to see if i wanted to do this job. it sounded good enough. he'll show up at the beginning of the job to make sure everything is ready and all the materials are there but when he is gone(90% of the time) im in charge to see the job to completion and deal with the day to day problems.
traveling sucks but the guy is a millionaire, and i like working for someone who has thier butter together, and knows how to get the big jobs and make the big money.
well enough about me, damn. every one else is like blah, blah, blah, blah. i checked out your website, nice job, im impressed. i liked the first picture with the trees and rain(i think it was rain). i should have signed your guestbook, but i was just taking a peek.

dont worry about the painkillers, i only take them before i goto sleep. thats the worst part, trying to find a comfortable way to lay, then hold it and goto sleep. which sounds like a good idea right now. P

hey, yes I can understand that feeling of failure because usually when people get hurt or sick they take things hard and have a tendency to get depressed easily and have that general feeling of being defeated, especially when they feel they are not being productive, but I am glad you realize it's absolutely not your fault. Don't worry about not signing my guestbook, you can do that later 🙂 {just the fact that you took the time to visit is nice, after all, that's why I made it, so that people would come around and visit} 🙂

Your job sounds awesome for the most part (wow, your boss is a millionaire!!), but I definitely understand not wanting to travel all the time. That's not something I ever want to do constantly either. Ocassional trips are good, but not too many where you feel like you're running around all the time (especially work related would bother me I think). At least you have a good boss (or so it seems to me). Thank you very much for the compliments on my website by the way! Encouragement rocks.

Okay, I hope you can find a comfy position--I would imagine that yes, doing that would be really difficult. Good night, sweet dreams, and feel better. 🙂

Wow, you're building your own computer? That's part of what my dad does for a living...it's pretty darn complicated from what I understand. But in the end, cheaper, so that's good.

Thank you so much, you are so sweet, it's such a nice contrast to some other "mountain folk" around here (haha, thought I would use that one at the first available opportunity, so funny the way you put that the other night)! lol 🙂

lol, yeah, i didn't even know who the razorbacks were so i asked him...i'm like, "obviously you're a huge fan...who are the razorbacks again?" LOL.

That's quite interesting, I can't believe you got to be involved with the building of an fbi building...lucky you!! oooh, i hope that info isn't "classified"...lol...

Is arkansas nice? Yeah, he's stationed there, and he lives there...i don't know...like I said, he seems nice, but like dxp was saying, is it possible to fall in love through email? And this soon? (like 2 or 3 weeks) What do you think?

gosh he's a cutie...yeah I know all about Golden Retrievers getting excited, we've had 2 in my life and although they have a rep for being mellow, we had hyper ones...that was probably the only problem we've had with them. Other than that, they are great dogs. How old is Tyler?

Yes, love is serious. I notice that people throw it around far too easily, which is sad, because it is such a powerful thing, it should'nt be taken lightly.

what type of security do you mean? Is it monetary or something else?

Sounds like those seeking "security" are lacking confidence in themselves and/or are relying on someone else to get them thru life? I hear this alot from Cancer natives that "
