I'm going to have to agree with Dream here on this one. I too need to hear the whole story to be able to help you at in the least bit. A little more input and I'll have a better understanding of what's going on and what I can tell you.
But from the looks of things; it seems that he doesn't fully trust you yet. It may seem hard to hear but it just might be that. If that's the case, try not to pry so much into what's going on in his crab shell and give him time. Eventually he will find the right moment to completely open up to you and tell you what's going on.

pisces-pisces i totally know how you fell and its hard for you i been the same situation but i had to leave because i knew that it wasn't going to get any better, I know you don't want to leave so quickly but it really doesn't seem like he's doesn't want to start the relationship over...and i think he still have feelings but he didn't see your relationship become more than what it is...just from my experience.

PiscesPieces, What you need to do is just cut him out of your life for a while. That's going to be the only way you can get over him. Avoid him at all costs for however long it takes for you to get over the guy. Do it the cancerian way and cut the person out; may sound cruel but it's how we deal with things. Maybe you should try to deal with it the same way and just forget about him and move on for a while. Than after a period of time, you can try the friends thing and go from there.
