How important is physical beauty to Crabs?

Not as important as other qualities, such as intelligence. I have a non traditional taste in men anyways, the guys who make my knees jelly aren't the typically known good looking guys.

I have to find him attractive. I have non-traditional tastes also and like a wide variety of physiques. But I have to find him attractive.

Intelligence and loyalty are on top of my list tho.

For me, its more of the mind and the personality.
There is truth to the saying "beauty is only skin deep".
A pretty face can mask an evil heart, and I am firmly of the belief that over time that "inner self" manifests physically--good or ill.

Good question! I think that Cancers are not superficial people, they can probably see the good and the beauty in all things and people, but! I think most cancers are good looking (at least most I've come across) people and are also one of the most fashionable in the zodiac. They like to seen, not heard (mostly). So...I think they would prefer a good looking mate (but looks may not be a deal breaker). Oh, just thought! Cancer people are big on making babies so they probably want a good looking person to make good looking babies with. Plus! Cancer people are good in the sack and very passionate so I feel like looks would matter when it comes down to staring in the eyes etc.

Looks might make me do a double take and drool but it's nothing if the character, personality, etc. aren't there.

I've seen it over and over: a good looking person who looks not so appealing when you find out how crappy they are inside.

The first man who ever made me go from zero to gaga is a firefighter. I met him after he had been severely burned all over his face and across about a forth of his body. The scars are the kind that make certain people uncomfortable. I heard his voice before I saw him. When I made it around the corner to see him I was already in love! Or lust? 😉 The way he spoke, what he had to say, what he was about, how he treated people, made him so sexy. *sigh*

To me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've had my friends tell me that the women I show romantic interest in aren't up to par with me in the looks department. It doesn't matter to me as long as I'm attracted to them.

Would I like a cute face with a body to match? Sure. But, it only goes so far. Intelligence, compassion, open-mindedness, honesty is higher up on the list for me than looks.

One thing though that really counts and I don't give a damn how she looks or her personality is; she better be into kissing and great at it. Lol

It's more of an impression the person makes, rather than looks. For instance, I like how Joseph Gordon-Levitt comes across. However, if first impressions are off, and the person turns out to be a douche, then it's bye-bye. Looks fade with time, but good values, principles, ethics, and a warm personality endure.

I'm actually intimidated by good looking people until I see if they're actually decent people or not.

Haha, yeah I've been working on toning it down the past 2 months or so. I just really know how to 'concentrate' on things, ideas, and people I put in my inner sphere. 😉

Btw, how does one put up an avatar picture on this site? I can't seem to get mine to stick. 😢

Go into settings (top right). Under where your profile pic/avatar should appear (left), there's an option to upload pics. Do that (but already have some pics on your computer files). When it loads there's an option box beneath the pic that says to "use as profile pic". Click the box. DXP is slow about having the pic actually show in your avatar, so don't be surprised if it takes a couple of days before it shows up when you post.

For some reason I can't get it to work right. I've been trying to upload a picture and it doesn't stick. Once I figure that part out then I can make the avatar work as well. Maybe picture size restrictions?

It's possible with the size limits. I've had some that wouldn't load. Try different ones. You'll know when it works, but the pic won't show as an avatar for a couple of days, but will be in your profile.
