Is Saturn messing with us again

Fellow Cancers, is 2017 like stable in some way but extremely bad in others?

I feel the effects of it like I did in 2010-2011. God its such a bad day to energy to deal with being an emotional sign.

That Jupiter wave last year was intense and enjoyable, I miss it lol

Anyone more familiar with Saturn tell me when its ready to leave again.

I'll go with some Uranus or Pluto underworld energy over this anyday

I your opposite..... Pisces Sun / Cancer moon! I have been in a strange humorous type of mood the last two weeks, and still am!! But, I have also got overly emotional about a relationship I was in, which I was unhappy about...... I have dealt with it in such a way as to have now made sure that there is no way back to that person, by trashing them a bit too much!

Saturn is currently in sagittarius so not dealing with us at all. It WILL enter capricorn probably aug/sep/oct of this year and will start to oppose us making life a little on the rough side but it is not there yet. Pluto is currently opposing us so that may be what you feel, it is at 19 degrees (roughly affecting july 12 cancers +/- a few days) and uranus is at 24 degrees (roughly affecting july 16-18 cancers).

When saturn enters capricorn and opposes your sun, themes from 7 years (and 14 and 21) will be brought up and supposedly whatever issues you were dealing with then will either come to fruition in terms of how well you dealt with it. It can be good or bad.

But, we're not there yet.

I see you have Gemini rising so if Saturn is close to your DC you're sure gon have a tough time.

It's not...apart from the 4th house...since about a year. Period of introspection, you might be housebound.

There's been a lot of conflict for me in the past 6 months. I had a big fight with my roommates a while back (December) and tensions before and after. My dissertation committee has been brutal. Funny enough I'll get a research award tomorrow. Then my relationship ending up in shambles. But the worst stretch has happened since January 2017. It's like treading water or being stuck in quicksand. At the end of 2016 I was involved in a lot of productive events, networking felt so easy and despite having accumulated enough overtime to take off 3 months, I still got stuff done. The past 4 months I reduced my workload, but can't seem to get anything actually done. For every sentence I write on my diss, I delete two. At least that's how it feels like. There are still good things popping up here and there, but they are almost random.

It's not...apart from the 4th house...since about a year. Period of introspection, you might be housebound.

That's so damn correct... I've been living in a flat with a crazy landlord and been hating every single minute. But didn't want to leave because I knew I couldn't find a better looking place with the same rent price. A month ago he gave me 2 months notice because his cousin is moving in, I felt such a relief... in 2 days I'm moving to a new flat with my Pisces and Leo friends and I couldn't be happier!

Awesome! Good for you. In dec 2017 l see Saturn hits your Node, at 0* Capricorn, that's destiny, so important things wil happen. Your destiny is linked to the 4th and 5th houses, so, family, and love, creativity. All the more important, not far you have Ura, Moon and Nep on the 5th house cusp! So play time, and creativity, hobbies and children must play a big role in your life. Saturn will reach this point in early 2019 probably, so that area of life will be activated. Im not sure how to interpret it but it will definitely be a big change from now.

What about me who got first house on Cancer?

When Saturn passes your ASC, it's a chance to start anew, first you probably change your appearance, clothes style , and personality. For the past 2 or 3 years you've been developing a new philosophy so now is when you apply it, and live your new adventure.

Other reference points are Saturn on the MC, 5 to 7 years previous, where you were at the summit of your professional image.

And Saturn DC, 13-15 years ago, where you were probably involved in a serious relationship.

In what way do these area get activated though? I'm already a graphic designer but lately I've been feeling the urge to do something more than this. I'm bored, I'm in need of a change and I know it's creativity related

It's hard to explain but sometimes I find myself wanting to run - literally - I crave running and jogging. Other days I crave painting and need to express myself. Although I don't know how and I feel limitations in my way of expression

Jan 2014 Saturn passed your Pluto, so that might have marked a point in your maturity. The next is 2019, where you'll develop your creativity, and your Saturn return in may 2021 will mark your coming of age.

Don't worry about it, transits are big surges of energy, you get swept up by them in advance, the reason for certain things now is because of the transit in your future. Your life events are pulled in a direction like a string. Example my Pluto DC is coming up, big change in marriage, it's the reason l got married with this partner 10 years ago, things line up according to the major transits.
