My boss is a Sociopath..Any of u experience this??

So after several frustrating head to heart battles with my boss, I am pretty sure she is a Sociopath. She has most if not all the traits..lacking empathy, real emotion(is bitch an emotion 😛?) lies, fake charm, manipulative, controlling, egotistical, selfish, etc. Any of you Cancers ever experience a boss like this? And if so how did you handle, how did it turn out? Isn't a person like this Kryptonite to our souls? Is it worth to stay and fight or should I just walk away as it seems a losing battle?

The trouble is being able to distinguish between an actual sociopath, and the tendencies of typical high and mighty's of today. Wouldn't be surprised to hear this is the owner or manager of relatively small business. I see it all the time in my field. In either case, what I think you should do is try to make her beat herself. Either a true sociopath, or simply an inflated ego, trying to take her head on is a losing battle as she will never admit she is wrong. However it is not a battle that cant be won entirely. Wear her down. For one, you getting visibly irritated is what gives her the power. Also those type of people tend to be pretty predictable. I don't know the particular situation but if she often lies, or takes advantage of her position, eventually an opportunity will rise for you to expose that to all. (ideally without you being implicated as the one exposing her) When this happens keep your cool, your not done yet. Keep all of this up and eventually she will implode fabulously, allowing you the satisfaction of knowing you have indeed won.

You have a choice. You can keep working while ignoring her psycho and pay bills or deal with her and secretly send your resume out to other places and get the eff out of there.

Could be the safer choice. I figured I would tell you story of how I have indeed seen this type of person fail when facing certain situations. Whether or not you leave it be or pursue that possibility depends on you.

Women in leadership roles as a boss can be ugly, hate me all you want I have found women in a management or boss role doesn't always work out. Women working with women even worse you have a power struggle going on then the pinching and hair pulling starts.
