Awww thank you both for responding! Both descriptions really resonated! I do sense she needs lots of freedom! She is VERY focused on her school work....excelling to a level I never, ever did academically. If someone she loves is spoken about negatively in her presence she DOES NOT tolerate it, I respect her so much for that. Not many people have character like that. Also, her best friend Ben came "out" to her, she was the first person he told. She didnt even confide it to me until 6 months later when he decided to start speaking openly about it. It warmed my heart that he trusted her.
