Here is just a small and rough comparison of Cancer to Virgo. There's more than just this out there. I liked your question btw. In finding out your specifics, I uncover small gems I don't think I'd have found otherwise. That said, I don't feel this is "finished". I'll continue to look for goodies.

Cancer and Virgo Bond:

Both of you are inclined to mood changes that, at times, can irritate each other.
For example, Cancer experiences periods of melancholy, tenderness, concern, worry, nostalgia and sentimentality, which Virgo may not understand or sympathise with. What it means for you

When the sign of Cancer is mentioned, most people describe Cancers as home bodies.
That is, however, not strictly accurate. True, for Cancer home and family are often of vital importance.
But it's really security - emotional security - that is of greatest significance to Cancer. Consequently,
when talking about the realm of relationship, stability and security are essential for a Cancer to be happy and contented.

Ironically, however, Cancers are frequently drawn to individuals who are anything but stable.
This may be because with Capricorn being your opposite sign and ruling the relationship angle of your chart, you're drawn to the Capricorn type - to an individual who is driven, often obsessed by their own goals and sometimes their own lives. This may take us back to the central element of the Cancer nature, which is not so much home or family - although many Cancers are powerfully involved with family - but your need to nurture and develop others.
