Shelling vs. Not Interested

So I've read through so many of these posts and I hear talk about "shelling" but how do you know the difference b/t when a crab is just "shelling" or that he is not interested anymore?

ahah when a cancer says dont call me again and deletes you on facebook is that a hard ass shell or what ahahah

yea, i would think he would go into his shell even more knowing that you had the inside track on him!! lol

interesting because i really felt like telling my cancer girl that i know the whole shabang about them lol

Shelling is when they retreat for a moment but return to you and still acts interested. When disinterested they won't make an effort. You may as well not really exist. This pretty much can be said for many people, cancer or not.

It is hard to tell at the very beginning of a relationship. There is still maybe not so much communication so the Crab retreats and you don't know very well what is going on..as the relationship grows, he will start being open about needing some space and he will let you know. Maybe he will prefer some time alone but he will send a text or contact you in a way.

As time goes by you will instincively know when he needs space , and he will know when you need yours and it won't be an issue unless you are a type of woman you is absorbing or needy or clingy..and you NIcole, are SO NOT like that!!!!

it takes time to get to know these creatures!!
