Why do people seem to dislike cancers so much?

i always hear people saying that caners are liars and selfish and other things. It seems like some people ahte them but i don't know why.

From my observations, cancerians are the heart and soul of any environment, in particular parties. They have an attractive almost magnetic quality. The cancerians i know are far from selfish but rather caring - sometimes too much. I do not believe for a second that they're a weak sign, sensitive yes but not shy of confidence when it's required.

It's easy to judge a person based on the Sun sign. But, it is the foundation of that individual. Each person is responsible for unlocking each room in the houses in their chart. If this isn't done, then people will only speak one language, their sun sign. That's my point of view anyway.

@QuietSt0rm Don't make all Gems wear the black eye for what a few did. Funny story: Last night I slapped a Gemini dude in the mouth for saying the wrong thing, at the wrong time. He was just a lad. But, I bet he'll think twice before he disrespects somebody else. But, hey, me and the Scorps have all been good! 😉 But, I'm a different kinda Gem In I.

It all comes down to self-awareness people, that's all. If you can learn about yourself through astrology, you can learn what your idiosyncrasies are, correct them, then grow as a result. That's how we grow as individuals, or at least we should.

But for me, the Cancers that I've known and dated have not been what they purported to be. You know us Gems, once we figure out the the whole 'mystery' is no mystery at all, we bounce. :::shrugs:::

Actually, I did. There is no mystery, at all. Just emotional selfishness which I found way to draining and unnecessary. They just wanted me to buy into that lie. Way too expensive. The emotional blackmail and insecurity is intended to manipulate. I'm just not that easy. Cancer people that I've been associated with are very emotional. Which is fine, unless that emotion is fear. Which is the basis of the Cancer. Oh snap!! EUREKA!! That's it! That's the mystery, Cancer people are afraid of the unknown! Ah, now it all makes sense! Now I'm really glad I bounced. I retract my original statement, there is a "mystery"....Fear.

See, all humans experience only two emotions, fear and love. All other emotions branch either directly or indirectly from these two emotions. Cancer people from my experience are fear based. Agree with it or not, it's true. I've said this before about most water signs. But, Scorps seem to get this which they use as a weapon and fight through it. Cancers lock themselves in a closet and hope it all just goes by by. Pisces' pretend it doesn't exist anyway, so boo. Doesn't mean that I don't love you though. :::shrugs:::

I don't hate cancers but they are pretty selfish. Cancers and I get along great! They're usually so cute I can't help it. The unfortunate part is that every cancer girl i meet is a fucking ditz but they're sweet and they mean well which makes them tolerable. Most cancer males i meet are witty and intelligent though. hmph. wonder why that is...

If you werent compatible with these people, man up. That seems to be the only real "mystery" solved here. You flatter yourself. You shouldn't just chalk things up to sun signs and very basic personality traits. That's cheap and immature. Not every Cancer is the same. You should make better assessments of your personal relationships.

Wineaux gets it. There is WAY too much stereotyping being done here. I just get tired of people of other signs making Cancers feel bad for being emotional like its a bad thing. And not ALL Cancers are emotional. There are degrees based on whole birth charts, genetics and GASP, actual life experiences and upbringing. We as human beings are highly unique. There is nothing wrong with that and no one should have to defend themselves for being different from others. If a person doesn't like you for who you are they need to move on. Its that simple. It takes every kind of people to make this world go round. There are 6 billion people in the world and you won't like or meet all of them and no two are alike. And nobody is perfect. How boring would that be?
