should I be worried?

had a great weekend with my cancer, met his family etc. (this is my first time seeing him since we met on our cruise in feb). texted him sunday night when i got home saying thanks. he responded no problem and don't forget about camping (late june). haven't heard from him since. does he plan on not seeing me until june?!

Whats the nature of your relationship?

We met on a cruise ship, kissed twice (that's it he's a huge gentleman and really shy). Went to visit him and acted like a couple, he paid for everything, held doors etc. His friends kept saying we'd be a great couple etc. Now, nothing.

i agree with maddy, i'm learning the ropes with the cancer guy i like, and this seems pretty typical! he could feel very attached to you and is backing off to get some clarity. or yeah, that he's busy. when my cancer is working, he may text to say he's missing me, or thinking about me...it's rare to get into a convo though. sometimes, i won't hear a word, then along he scuttles...

from what i've seen so far, generally cancers don't play around when it comes to someone they like...they can be insecure, though. he seems to me like he's biding his time. they're VERY skilled at that...then, WHAM!!! out of the blue, all these things come out that you probably weren't aware he was feeling...don't worry!!

Thanks guys.. I'm really hoping hes just in the shell mood an thinking of our weekend together, but I hate setting myself up for disappointment. His friend chatted with me on fb and said they all talked after I left and they all think were so good together, and he said I'm cool and outgoing and stuff anhe was worried hes too quiet for me. I was thinking if he doesn't contact me in the next day or 2 I'd text him and say I was listening to the black keys and I thought of him 🙂 is that too forward? Should I wait for him to contact me first?

I'm a Cancer man and I couldn't agree more with nimbue.^^^^^

I can tell you this, I have found myself coming on too strong before and the results were very disapointing. I am very careful not to come on too strong and reveal too much too early. Rejection really ruins my day. I am very patient when I recognize I need to be. As nimbue said, I am very skilled at biding my time and try to be very careful with the WHAM!. But when it comes out, it really comes out.

It may not be too forward to text him, Cancers need to be reassured. It's a fine line though. Too much and it can scare me off but the right amout and I will eat out of the palm of your hand.

I read the rundown of your weekend with him and he ABSOLUTELY seems into you.

I'm guessing this is your first experience with a Cancer man?

If so, please take everyone's advice and just go with the flow and take things sllllllooooooow. No pressure...I repeat...NO PRESSURE!!!

It's good that you take this time to learn and get familiar with his psychological/emotional processess (and he with yours).

What's wrong with you young'n's nowadays eh? Why the rush for everything?!

Believe me Roxy, the best relationships are built on friendship first, at a calm and steady pace.

He mentioned seeing you in June for camping in hopes of solidifying the plans but that DOES NOT mean that he won't call you in between. LOL. STOP OVERANALYZING (YEAH RIGHT! AS IF A VIRGO COULD EVER STOP DOING THAT!).

In the meantime just keep doing you and lightly reach out to him every now and then.

I know it may sound easier said than done but, if you want a real and lasting connection with this guy then DON'T come across to eager. Let him do some of the pursuing and provide him with enough space to figure things out for himself.

So far, it sounds like things have worked out pretty nicely and the fact that his mother took a liking to you is a PLUS.

The both of you are still young and learning yourselves and the world so no need to go full speed ahead. Just enjoy each moment for what it is and "be anxious for nothing" because when you are, it usually slips right through your fingers. In time the universe will give you everything that is for you and everything that you deserve.
