The WHY Question

is it just me, or do cancers always need to kno why?
i never met anyone who wnats to kno why i ask or do everything.

so here's my quetsion.. WHY do they ask why?
knowledge is power? are they trying to understand you? are they testing you?

my feeling is they want to judge if your answer is satisfactory to them.

i ask why cause i wanna know. reason as well too taurus have a knack of trying to also test you. they also ask alot of questions.

I ask a lot of questions...and it is just because I want to know MORE about a person. It has nothing to do with 'testing' anyone.

I think moon_eyes explained it well enough - i do it because I'm trying to understand the person because people do do things differently. It's not to test you but more to feel you out.

It's a shame that this message board doesn't lend itself to explorationn of other signs. I love knowing the good, bad, and the ugly about everything. To venture off into another lane on dxpnet is a recipe for disaster I've learned. Such a gang mentality. We all should be learning about each other more freely.

i just find it so weird, that i could simply ask a basic yes or no question... and the asnwer i gte is always "why?"

It is not weird.

Cancerians are wary towards strangers. They want to know WHY. They dont trust strangers. Only someone naive and foolish would trust a stranger. Cancerians are smart.

Nothing weird about it at all.

Cancers can read things in many directions so asking why exactly someone wants to know a certain bit of information gives us a better chance in answering the question provided by the questioner.

they want to know "why" so they can manipulate you🙂 no offense to anyone but it's from my personal experience and 3 other friends who dated cancers. once we got together and swapped "cancer" stories and similarities were remarcable!

I'm sure that if you was to take notes from your girlfriends about a virgo (an example) and you will find that they use the answers to their questions to manipulate you as well. This 'manipulation' is done by everyone male or female regardless of sign. If it doesn't happen, it's because that person has grown up and doesn't play in those games.

My ex, who is a Libre by the way, was notorious for asking questions about something and then later on use that info to gain what she wanted or when an arguement arose. Normally, she would use the info to throw back in my face. Now, I'm saying that all Libras are like this but I know that she is. I've had that done by many different people and it wasn't just by the same sign. It's people being immature and mixing apples and oranges.

If he does either one of those, it's him being immature and not because he's a 'cancer'. Pls don't put all of us 'cancers' in the same boat. There are some of us that are very emotional stable and are out going.

I agree with bilal - it has to do with an individual not their sign - I am a cancer and my recent ex was an aries - He asked "why" to many of my questions and would many many times later used them against me in arguments. Now wouldn't it be unfair for me to say all aries are like that when infact I've only had this experience with one aries but many other signs as well. Let's play fair. It's all due to immaturity.

And please people don't judge cancers like we claim to be perfect. We've accepted that you're not perfect at all either so give us a break.
