i like dry kisses.
i was never a fan of french kissing or any of that, i mean ... ill do it for ten seconds the most, but anything over that is just...meh. i think thats one thing that cancer man had to deal with when we started dating. lack of passion in the kiss [from my end]
i would rather plant kisses all over my lovers forehead and body, all over their cheeks, nose, and lips. sometimes i might just lick them randomly [im a freak show] , but as far as french kissing...havent been a fan since my first love gave me my first kiss. he slobbered all over my face , it was messy, it was disgusting, it was gross. did i mention he was a leo?
maybe with cancers, or with just kissing in general, its not about the strategy, but about the feeling associated with the kiss[?]
I tend to be the same way. I do more dry kisses, because damn, most people don't know how to french. I have only had two experiences where the french kiss was auh-mazing. Literally weak at the knees and dizzy. You first experience reminds me of my high school ex, a pieces. OMG, I was so grossed out. My Leo ex, I had to control the amount of french action, he couldn't do it right. But the last person who did know how to french right...oh I could go for hours.
But I also am free with my kisses and toungue. LOL have to keep my mouth busy.

CC, you sound like him. He said you have it all, passed all the test but two. The walk and the kiss. I told him not to worry about the walk, I am a lioness after all, we master the walk with the sway of the hips. But the kiss is such a highly personal choice and experience. So we shall see. But he said the kiss tells so much about the person.

this makes me think of cancer kisses. They're so encompassing with their love. My boy and I do the sweetest things for each other and different kisses always come up. Cant say he has a kissing style besides being totally absorbed. I was told I am a great kisser, and I do find, my cancer and I kiss a lot for everything. More than I ever have with my other exs.

@BlackIndian Oh I hope so. It is hard to please with the kiss...the most important part of the physical act of intimacy. But it is also such a highly personal opnion on what on considers to be a good kiss. I do hope we can meet each other at that level.
@BlackIndian He asked me if I was going to cry when I saw him at the airport. LOL, I told him no. That isn't quite my style . My sensuality is infused in every part of my body and emotion and how I show my feelings for someone...it is more he is going to have to pry my lips off of his in the airport. LOL Everything I do, is natural and with out force. You either take it or leave it. :-)

I was thinking about this post a little today. Something about Cancers that is probably littered all over this forum is that they will be whatever the hell you need them to be. (in terms of bedroom type things).
If I had to guess, Id say this cancer is going to learn quickly exactly how you want to be kissed. That is how a cancer kisses.
See, I am not to sure he will do that so easily. I saw his sun sign play out play in so many ways in his personality. But yet, so much more. There is a strength, drive, dominance, and leadership that I could identify with. We have this weird understanding of each other and he is able to go toe to toe with me and call me out for my shit but do it in a way that I get where he is coming from. We have many placements through our chart are the exact placement, a couple different. I called his moon from the start because of his will power, ambition, thirst for greatness, and drive. He is a Leo Moon whereas I am an Aries Moon. We both have Jupiter and Mercury in Leo. But his Venus and Mars is Gemini and mine is Leo/Cancer. There are other placements we match though.
So I do not think he will be so quick to adapt, there may even be a power struggle, but hey I like that. But I also know as with us Leo's he will be giver, love to please and loyal. Does that make sense?

Yeah, my cancer is quit amazing and I feel lucky to have found me a cancer man. Don't know about the boudoir, it shall be intresting. He has claimed that is his and his alone, the art. I told him BS, he forgets who he is dealing with and he has never meet the likes of me. But it is all in fun in game. He likes the challenge I give him and when it comes it one he will get. I keep telling him, I am highly competitive and I always win. Hehe. But you are so right...knowing someone in their individual life , they are so different behind close doors. I really like piscesmoon2 answer as well. That is really a great example of a kiss. It is the sharing of breath through your lips. Don't worry about it ok. Just be glad you two can finally spend time together. He'll be soo happy to just be able to hold you. His kiss will reflect all his loving feelings for you Lioness. He'll be happy to just holding and talking to you. So you should focus on that.
That I don't doubt. He speaks of owning everything of me, won't go into every detail but down to my heart soul and he can't wait to finally be home. He just says, please be at that airport to meet me so I can have you in my arms. Told him nothing will stop me from being there.

I think what draws a lot of cancers and leos together is that they both want to pleasing. They approach it a little differently, and it has different effects on the individual, but there is a healthy reciprocation between the two. Compete away!

It is both our giving and pleasing personalities. We both deeply desire for our loved ones to be happy and taken care of. And yes we approach it at a different manner but same outcome. We were in a playful mood yesterday and something tragic came down him and I switched quickly over to my giving helping self and evoking in him his fight and strength.

For instance:

Stiff lips, I'll be soft against them and see if they melt.
If other Cancers are similar, they'll react to the mood of their partner and if favorable, try to throw some gasoline on the fire.

I do agree with you and being mindful of his feelings. That is how I approach everyone. I have a way with words that I can give advice and constructively that is useful and not making a person feel defensive or put down. I see his internal sensitivity but I also see his strength and strong mind. We actually got into a interesting conversation today. He talked to an exboss and she told him the next person who hooks up with better be independent, confident, and a mind of their own. One who can go tit for tat with you when you show your ass. Not someone who is mousey, needy and a basket case. (we are very private about our current status at this time for reasons, not mention we are just private people in general.) So he asked if it was me.
I told him I couldn't answer that. I know who I am and what I am about, but that is his own personal perception of me. I told him, you are an analyst by profession who take a set of information and make an informed opinion and decision on. We have known each other long enough, had enough conversations and even disagreements for you to make your own assessment. So I want to know what you think.
He replied if I made an assessment and followed my gut..yes you are.
I said OK then. I told him I was looking for the same and add on top someone who can give me a swift kick in the ass and back on track if things consume me. Considering I am an analyst by profession and nature myself, he seems to have fit the bill...otherwise it would have been another reason I would have walked a long time ago.

That is the feeling I am getting "the feeling through the lips". It seems a cancer reads their partner's intention and feelings through the kiss.
Oh, with me, be becareful with that gasoline, I am already all fire and passion, so you will be in for one hell of a ride. 😉
