What's the deal with Cancer and Pisces?

In friendship, I feel a sort of connection with Cancers but at the same time there's some kind of tension as well. I find that they (both sun and moon people) have a streak of bitchiness that I dislike..

What's your experience with Cancers?

And don't get me wrong, I like Cancers and their quirkiness 🙂

My best friend is a Cancer. We are technically square by 3 degree orb.
I wouldn't say I've ever felt it though.

I also would never come close to calling her bitchy. I think that's more my role.
She will get heavily stubborn and offended with anything to do with those close to her being wronged, as cancers are said to do. But generally bitchy? not a chance...

Overall I find her very easy to relate to.

Just a sort of world-weariness. Like that little donkey in Winny the Pooh. Eeyore (or however you spell it).

I think we tend to frustrate them a bit because they are a cardinal sign, and if we follow their lead it's just to humor them. We have no serious intention of actually letting them lead us anywhere.

If the world ended at any given moment, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. I'd barely blink...

One of my best friends is a Cancer. One of my favorite co-workers at work is also a Cancer. In fact, most of my female friends are Cancers. Now that I have sweetened things...yes they do have some annoying traits. They can be extremely defensive, sarcastic, and super sensitive to criticism. They have a hard time letting things go, and tend to hold a grudge for the smallest of slights. Unfortunately they also have a bad habit of being able to dish it, but not take it. Additionally, they can be spoiled, as well as control freaks who will sulk and whine when things do not go there way. These behaviors annoy the heck out of me, but I can usually over look them since there other good qualities usually out weigh their bad ones. Unfortunately these traits apply to both Cancer men and Cancer women usually. I seem to have a bit more patience with the women, since most women are moody in general. Not so much patience when it comes to the men...

Cancers have pinchers

I don't interact with you PiscVirgAquaFish... because you remind me of someone. I wonder if your Cancer friends know how you really feel about them.

I've seen you write the above opinion of Cancers many times on these boards, especially the males. Lots of "yucks, no thanks and I can't deal with that." I've never seen a Cancer say anything about it. However, if Pisces are getting a bad rap in a thread or people are saying negative things about Pisces, you are one of the first to whine about them not getting love. I wonder why that is?

Water signs tend to mirror each other, you know. I bet you have something in common with your "defensive, sarcastic, super sensitive to criticism friends who can dish it out but can't take it." 🙂

Just something to think about...

I was married to a Aqua Sun, Virgo Moon, Pisces Merc. He rarely had anything nice to say about me either... until I left him. I never imagined he could cry that much! You think you know a person...

I love Pisces. Maybe it's a too much being alike thing. Sometimes the bitchiness can rub off. You know how we tend to absorb people's moods and emotions.

Anyways, I think one Cancer trait that I hear too much of is about us being whiny. I really lack this trait. I do not whine to anyone. I keep it to myself. I really dislike people who whine. It's like suck it up. I don't know too many Cancers who whine either. I don't know how we are stuck with this whiny label. Or am I doing it now? Whining about being whiny? *shrugs*

I wish I could interact with more Pisces males.

I can get past the whining, but they are emotionally "expansive", like to infringe on personal space and don't respect privacy and I don't like that. They like too much familiarity and it irks me.

That said I generally find them more supportable than other signs.

Are you saying there is a correlation between being a woman and being crazy?

I only know one Pisces. A guy and we became FWB (which my dumb butt thought we were dating! Kids ask questions no matter how annoying! Don't be stupid like me) then I put a stop to that and we're just friends again. I'm a sucker for nice guys that tell me I have nice eyes with that I guess.

And yes woman and crazy. I blame men and that hormone cortisol.

I've always liked Cancer and I get along with them very well on a friendship level but I've never been attracted to one. I had Cancer friends who wanted more but it was never mutual. It's weird because the connection is there and it's so easy to talk to them and understand them but romantically I have never felt anything. It might be for the better though because most Cancer I know are very family oriented and I am not at all.

Love me some Cancer women. Two of my closest female friends are Cancers. Such sentimental wee souls. Very moody though and somewhat prone to a "woe is me" frame of mind. The ones I know at least.

They make very loyal friends though.

Relationship wise the men are not for me. Far too smothering and needed constant reassurance. Just because I'm not hugging/kissing/touching/telling you I ache for you and can't breathe without your love every second of every date does not mean I'm not into you.

my longest friendship is with a cancer. she has a libra moon. i was in a very long relationship with a cancer male with scorpio moon. a lot of aspects did not align in our chart other than our sun signs. ended devastatingly. no ill will, just in the end was not compatible. bummer bc he was a great guy. i like cancers bc they understand my emotional side.
