Whirlwind or Slow Build?

As some of you know, I'm an Aries who's been in a relationship with a crab for a year now. The development of our relationship was pretty slow. We paced how often we saw each other, when we first had "at home" dates, when we first became intimate, met friends/family, etc.

My Sag friend is also dating a crab and their relationship is moving at lightning speed. Within a couple of weeks she was sleeping at his place every night and she was declaring to everyone that they are both in love. Now after less than two months of dating, she's plastering their relationship all over a certain social site and the "congratulations" are pouring in.

My crab keeps telling me that my friend's relationship is destined to self-combust because it's moving forward far too fast.

Do other crabs agree? Any Sags here? Is this how they usually approach new relationships?

I dated both a sag and aries before, it took me 4+ months to develop feelings with the aries and less than 3 weeks with the sag. Strange coincidence you were referring to those two sign. Over all, I would say it depends on the couple.

How long did each of those relationships last?

The pacing is everything with Cancer and fire signs. Especially with an Aries. That combo is not really meant to go the distance but with determination other aspects in the chart it could go further. It's actually meant to burn fast and short. Part of the appeal actually.

Almost 7 months with the Aries
Almost 6 years with the sag.

I'm a cancer and I dated a sag twice before. The sag man was too fast for me ,he was in a rush for love. It was weird when I first met him he was trying to feel me out telling me how he don't trust people, slowly it turn to I like u to love and two week while talking everyday for hours he started telling me how he wanted to meet my family and trying to get me to meet his. That shit scared the shit out of me.I need time and patients he wanted love fast. He wanted things done now. He also by 2 months was talking about marriage. He was pushing things to go along and I was trying to get him to take his time. We separated afterwhile. Because he had so much other issues

This is the 4th Cancer I've been involved with and the only one that led to an actual rel'nship. My first crab moved at supersonic speed. It overwhelmed me and not in a good way. I ended it after 6 weeks. (But it took almost 2 years until he stopped trying to get me back).

Go for him, don't unnecessarily hold yourself back. In a way I think fiery powerful women are what Cancer men need to bolster their confidence and bring out the best in them. Arian women do a fine job of making a man feel like a stud, go for it!
