Can Cap and Sag work in the long-run?

My Cap just seems so moody and pessimistic to me...and it lasts a long time imo.

It's hard for a sunny Sag to always try to pull the Cap out of one of their moods.

Can this pairing ever work? How?

My Sag best friend has stayed with her Cap man for almost 4 years now, despite my prayers lol. Anyhow it's not hard, just don't try to force your positivity down his throat and understand that there's not a time limit on how long someone can be sad(Sags seem to struggle with this).

He says that he can't flip over his moods as easily as me.

I get it, but I don't know how to help him get out of his. Leave him alone?

I agree sag sun is very sunny for the gooomy cap.

I'd think it's a challenge in the long run.

I dated one for 2 years, married for 7. He was more down than I was.

Also pulling him out of his funks isn't your responsibility. Sometimes I need to feel that & just give it time to pass. Let him know you're there if needed, just stop babying him

Can I tell him to snap out of it? Sometimes if I get exasperated or frustrated enough, he will stop.

The thing that I hate the most is he'll get snappy/sarcastic sometimes when he's in a bad mood. That pisses me off so much, and we end up fighting as a result. I can't be a Virgo type and take it, or a Scorp type and go silent.

This is why I sometimes say mutables are controlling.

Caps are a lot like cancers when it comes to moods. Thats just his nature that has nothing to do with you. You cant tell him to get out of something hes not trying to get into. Thats like him telling you to stop smiling or being happy/positive and be more realistic, if you are a happy go lucky Sag.

Now it is wrong for him to snap at you, but other than that give him space.
