Hope everyone is happy and really getting some chill time. Ive had a really good, simple, quick work week and, looking forward to Memorial Day weekend. Dont have to bring any work home and my Girl "friend" is having her b-day party. Riding around in a limo with a whole bunch of girls. Plus I get to chill with my younger brother some which is why Im smiling. Money is right. And I believe im letting go more with co-workers and theyre finally starting to trust my eyes and my smile. Yes yes Sade is playing on my laptop. Only 4 days of school left (i teach in a high school which is one of my jobs). So summer is on her way over to holla at me. My mom isnt worrying anymore. Im Healthy. Shes still pretty as hell and taking care of herself? Theres some more I cant list but I would just like to again wish my Captains some goodness their way because we not only need it I believe we deserve it. go

Depends on the state youre in. Then it depends on the special needs of the individual. Math, Science, Literature, etc. Some kids need occuprep (occupational preperatory curriculum) which is more vocational. Some will leave the grounds to pursue job apprenticeships because they of course plan on immediately entering the job force once graduated. EC is great and rewarding but with a lot of IEP paperwork.

Whatever level they are currently on you must be prepared to teach and beyond plus their learning disabilities are so diverse in degree and frequency. I like it though. Its just a lot of individual attention and desk hopping.

Mind you now, that most of these kids come from terrible family backgrounds and heartbreaking stories which is why I do what I do. They want to be at school and want to learn unlike most of their counter-parts with the advantages. So I make coming to school rewarding, comfortable, playful, interactive, and last but not least educational in ways that they will absorb.

How about you? What is your profession if you dont mind me asking? Its always fun to know the variety of caps that caps are capable of wearing🙂

I always wanted to be a software engineer but I hate math. Im good with it though. C# looks scary seriously. I dodged as much math as possible in college.

Ages 14-18. Its only frustrating if you have Oppositionally Defiant ones. I can usually break through to them with a normal approach. When youre in an occupation for the progressiveness and creativeness of it then nothing bothers you except for the paperwork.

If I decide to pay a yearly subscription to XboxLive for the XNA creators club software will you give me some pointers in dealing with programming so I could maybe speed up my ideas to get this xboxlive arcade game out? I am aware that you are an engineer and not a programmer.

Now after the final bell rings is when the frustration comes because I am a one-on-one in the afternoon for 3 to 4 hours. Those kids can sometimes be very troublesome. Plus where I live at trying to find something for them to do every day and write honest notes on the goals, interventions and responses proves very challenging.

I will definitely be sending some questions your way in the near future. I should warn you that I ask a lot of questions in order to get a clear pic with what Im dealing with. I only ask that you exercise patience with me and explain things to me as if you would a baby.
