Actually, I think to me it's half. Just that. Middle road. Not full. Not empty. Just a realistic outlook. I see the dark side. I see the bright side.

I also think because caps see the realistic side, other people seem to think we're pessimistic. We're good at playing Devil's Advocate. We're good at planning for alternatives such as outdoor event planned? We need a plan B in case it rains, a plan C in case it's cold or really hot... However, people look at me and say 'why so negative? why you gotta rain on our parade?'. I'm not, just planning so we're not scrambling when something goes wrong.

On another note:
People who ALWAYS see the optimistic side of things get on my last nerve. They need to come down to earth a little bit. The world is not always a happy place. This is not Sesame Street. If you think it is, then you're a fool.

On the other hand, people who ALWAYS see the negative side get on my nerves too. There are happy things in life. Life is not as drab as they make it seem. Get a grip and enjoy some of it.

So, find the middle ground. There are good and bad things.

I try to see the silver lining, the hidden blessings, the good out of the bad. If something bad can happen, you CAN draw positives out of it. Have to for your piece of mind and your ability to move on from it as well as a way to learn the lesson you're supposed to learn.

You can also twist the negative into a positive and find a way to benefit from it. Sometimes.

The thing about being a pessimist is ...... you are almost always right.

yep. def more often than not. then there's that weird feeling of being correct, but ??_ just but. lol

part of me wonders though, how much of it is self-fulfilling prophecy? i hear a lot of people use the word "manifest" and to some degree i believe it. it's similar to hope, faith, believing, etc. but there comes a point when i think it get thrown around too much. reality is??_ x, y and z did or didn't happen and therefore this will all end in tears.

i think capricorns just inherently understand all the working parts of a situation. if we see things aren't up to par in some areas??_ the outcome seems obvious.

wonder how many of us are i-told-you-so's ??_secretly 😛

Secretly—

Surely you jest. 🙂

Sometimes I rub it in.

Sometimes I just crack a devilish grin.
