I have meet an insanely handsome and highly intelligent Cappy. He has peaked my interest, which is very hard to do as I am highly selective. He has also meet so far many qualities I find highly attractive and appealing. Things have moved slow, which I enjoy. I let him initiate all the phone calls as I know he is extremely busy and I will send him a text usually in the morning wishing a wonderful day at work. He can take a long time to reply, but it doesn't bother me. He has apologized a couple of times for a delay as he was busy and I tell him not to worry, I understand. I have been enjoying the slow pace and our intellectual conversation. We both have the same interest in history and learning things. He has is tickled that I have taught him new things he didn't know through out conversations.

He can be hard to get a read on, my intuitiveness is always on run for its money. He does throw a curve ball in there un expectantly a couple of times. Such as Friday was a teacher workday (he is a teacher) and he called me from work and asked if I wanted to meet up this weekend. Our first "date". He had to see if he could move some things around and if it didn't work, we could due something during the week. I told him to just let me know and I would enjoy that and should be able to work something out. He contacted me yesterday and choose the meet spot and time and choose a place with as he said, with many exits if needed. I flirted back saying in my case I don't I need an exit and responded in kind. We had some coffee then went went to a local restaurant to watch the Sweet 16 and more convo. He surprised me again when we were leaving and pulled me in for a kiss. Then told me to let him know I got home safe.

I am very intrigued by him and just seeing where it goes and continuing my observation and evaluation. So far he is doing well. :-) I will admit, I have been very weary of Cappys. As tradition is very important. Tradition is for me too and I love caring for my loved ones but one the other hand I am an extremely fiery Leo woman with majorly place fire signs and fixed fire sign on top of that. I can come across very strong, even when I try hard to reign it in. I am insanely independent and stubborn. So I never thought a Cap to be the right fit for me. Help me understand this sign more.

@Richcap- thank you.

@creativecap- I agree with you. I am enjoying getting to know him for him. It is just my analytical nature. I like to evaluate and take things apart to know something and people are no exception. I take an eclectic veiew on people and astrology is only a small aspect of it. It helps me understand myself, but by far doesn't run my life...only I can dictate or change myself. There is a lot more to a person then astrology that makes them very appealing or appalling.

Its difficult to suggest how to move forward with him without specefics. Is there something confusing about his behavior in particular?

If its about you being independent and you thinking that this might not fit with his personality. Most cap men i know can be a bit chauvinist. It does not mean it won't work. You just have to let him be the man. you can still be confident and independent, but try not to be too boastful about it. This type of behaviour is usually appalling to the caps taste.

Not looking on who to proceed. Right now I am letting that play out as it happens and enjoying what is happening as it does. It is to early to put speculation on anything.

My question was more routed to get a general understanding since I am not well versed on the Capricorn and debunk or confirm those preconceived notions as they do cause me to move with caution. It is that chauvinistic demeanor that worries me. I have no problem letting a man be a man and have done this with him thus far, letting make the first moves and plan out what we will do. I appreciate a strong man too and find that appealing but one that will not view me as a lesser. Not acceptable for me. Yeah, the boastfulness I may need to reign in, in reality that is not what it is. It is my enthusiasm and passion.

I'm sorry, I really don't mean to seem like an a-hole, but it's "piqued" your interest, not "peaked". I didn't finish reading because errors like that frustrate and distract me to no end, but at the very least, I've contributed to the thread and maybe, just maybe, taught someone something out there.

Cap guy, right? Well, tell him he's "piqued" your interest. They appreciate intelligence and demonstrating that you know the proper term might just impress. Who knows, though.

That is the only thing you picked out in my post? I saw several grammatical errors, however, considering I am on my phone with a little tiny keyboard that loves to also autocorrect everything I personally don't care. It is annoying but I am too busy living life then being a tight ass to let it frustrate and distract me.

With Cap men, you HAVE to be strong in your principles and in your own life but soft with them. That does not mean you have to do what they want but it does mean that you treat them with utmost respect and genuine care.

LOL An earth sign telling another earth sign to come down to earth. *Gets popcorn and eases into comfy chair.*

My take is that this will be a passionate run for the fences and then it will fizzle. But the ride is sure worth the price of admission. If both of you are game then have a lot fun together. If your seeking the One; you may not find it here. Cap men like their fellow Virgo men have a way of taking their time about matters of the heart. All the Cap guys I know can fall into a relationship and can end one just as quickly.

1) Yes
2) Yes, but they could be bi or straight as well. Note: Capricorn is a feminine sign so their energy is passive, soft, sensitive and reserved.
3) a. Yes, but a lady scores major points if she is intelligent and witty.
b. I don't know Capinc.

Crabs and Caps need harmonious aspects in synastry for it to work.

A Scorpio Moon's observation.

🙂

In the case of Capricorn, however, it is the only Feminine sign that is considered to be ruled by a Masculine planet (Saturn). They can be aggressive, like the goat, and pushy. They have strong guidelines by which they live their life and are known for their ruthlessness in order to obtain their position at the top (Capricorn located literally at the Top of the zodiac wheel). How Cancer is considered the "Eternal Mother", Capricorn is considered the "Eternal Father"... still feminine enough to be emotional and nurturing, yet strong-willed and dominant enough to maintain the upper hand.

Well, all this has become moot. He has made the wrong move the morning and I kindly wished him the best of luck in his life and take care. Men and their emotional issues, it is rather sad. And this is why I take my observation period in getting to know someone...you can learn a lot. If he knows what is best he will not contact me again as I will very kindly rip him apart, chew him up and send him on his way in a manner he will not know what happened to him until later. 🙂

@CC turd on cardboard huh? You crack me up. LoL

@triplecap thank you for that link. It was an interesting read. Sad thing, I fit nicely into that description. Oh well. Moving on.

Thank you everyone else for you input, it is very appreciated. And thank you for stepping in as it was very kind. 🙂 I didn't get offended by Meta. I am big girl and tough, it is very hard to offend me as I really do not care what people think or say. Especially those I don't know. If you want to pass judgement based on one post have at it. Not worth my time.

Overall I must say, Cappys are a very interesting group and I enjoy the wit on this board. I do like. 😉

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn which is a Masculine planet.
All earth and water signs are feminine/yin energy.
"In general, signs of the same polarity can understand each other's personalities, whereas signs from opposing polarities have a difficult time seeing eye to eye. Air feeds Fire and empowers it; Earth needs Water for life."
@ CC see, there's hope 😉

well, Scorpio has Mars and Pluto and Mars is masculine. So they have both. Pisces has Jupiter and Neptune, so they too have dual masculine/feminine. Earth in itself as an element is feminine.

"help me understand this sign more..."

I have been with a Cap/Aqua FWB for over 6 months, so I think I can give you some insight. I also have a ton of fire (Sun Sag, Leo Moon, Jupiter Sag, Sag Midheaven, Mercury Sag, Uranus Sag, and Neptune Sag).

In my experience, Cap men are very grounded. You get the sense that they are listening, but not easily influenced by anyone. They know who they want and go for it, but it takes them a while to be sure of the person. Just be yourself because they are sharp and know when someone is bullshitting them. They are tangible results oriented.

My Cap notices everything, and remembers almost everything I say. He will quote me from when we first met. Not just important things, even random comments. He's very serious about our relationship, and wants to marry me when I'm ready. I'm a priority, but I think I come after career 🙂

He works really hard, has a big ego, and is proud. Can be quite judgemental of a person's intelligence level. If someone does something he thinks is "stupid" he will say it even if it's to his boss. I've seen his texts to his boss.

Seems like he pays attention to someone's thought process a lot, and has extremely high standards. Sometimes I think he's selfish, but his job is very selfless and demanding.

I think they are drawn to fire because we are so positive, and really quite opposite to them. Problems seem to occur with pace. Fire is quicker and Earth is slower. You have got to be patient and mature with this sign!

He makes me go the extra mile with patience (aka. waiting for him because he works A LOT), but keeps me interested. Still trying to figure out how he does that... haha, because I'm usually very restless.

You'll probably learn a lot from this sign in terms of how to control yourself better. You have to be quite exceptional to get a Capricorn in my opinion. They make you work for it, but you become a more solid and stronger person in the end.

Hope this helps!
