Capricorn North Node in the 4th House

I've been looking a lot into my North Node placement recently, probably thanks to Neptune in retrograde, and I've been realizing that a lot of my motives in everything I've ever wanted to do was to impress and gain the approval of the public eye. While that's stupid in general and probably roots in some issues of vanity and lack of self-esteem, it also completely contradicts the North Node I'm stuck with, which is to find a sense of self in the home, and to figure out how to accomplish things for yourselves instead of for some third party.

I literally hate that. I hate being at home. I hate being with family. It literally eases my mind to imagine myself as some sort of public figure. As an Aries sun, Capricorn moon, I feel a natural inclination to manage and influence people. But the interpretation of my Capricorn North Node in the 4th house leads me to believe that any attempt to manage other people or appeal to others will end in frustration and make me feel inadequate, which has generally been the result of my attempts thus far.

Anyone else have this? Or those whose North Node is placed in the 10th house, how have your experiences been thus far?

Well, my NN is in 4th, so that's the topic. But maybe hearing those whose NN is in the 10th and their experience with their SN in the 4th could give some context on the situation.

Well, my NN is in 4th, so that's the topic. But maybe hearing those whose NN is in the 10th and their experience with their SN in the 4th could give some context on the situation.

I don't think you can talk Cap NN now that you have Cap Moon. It is so part of you, a prominent part.

with Cancer Mars your 4th house subjects are covered too. you are an equipe of attaced and dettached and enterprising and slow people. all in one. I guess sn-nn is a solved issue.

not that I am an expert in it. this is how I see it.
