Posted by tiziani😆 its how i get through my days lol I can't/won't change some aspects of my relationship so I've changed my way of thinking about it. until I'm ready to take action on my own behalf I have to accept that anything I'm going thru is of my own choosing. If that makes any sense lol I might be a lunatic who knows...
I may have to steal your "not optimal" catchphrase lol
Parenting style usually boils down to where all three people's (both parents and the child)'s planets land in each other's houses.
You can see the power dynamics, say if one of the three has their planets in both the others' 10th House then they will come off as the authoritarian of the family, for example.
There are also some parts of the 3rd, 4th and 5th Houses, in Arabic parts, that predict better relationships with sons or daughters for the chart holder.

Sun, moon, 4th house and 10th house.

Posted by AbbyNormalThe thing about "good parents" - well... that's more plausible in the right mix. If it's a good matching. If not... even though, the ones in question - might have the potential to be great parents - for a certain type of children, if they end-up with a mix - that's quite the opposite - in terms of personality (worlds apart even) - it just wouldn't work. That's a doomed mix for both parties (both the parents and the child). For example: a hippy pair - like the one from: Meet the Fockers...Posted by nevesLOLOLOLOL

Posted by neves😕 o.m.g. he is like really smacking that kid lol I see what you mean. while I appreciate all that, my outbursts lessen the older I get lol they still occur, I've just developed a lot of self control over the years. that's another reason I dont have kids yet either tho. I want my children to have both mother and father in their lives. period. I believe it's important. having said that, my personal responsibility is to choose the BEST possible mate in which to procreate. let's just say I don't think I've met him yet lol. I do believe I'll know when it's time. I want my children to be raised with a father who is above all present but also wise, patient, funny, spontaneous, stable, passionate, hard-working, intelligent, communicative, strong, loyal.... i honestly don't think this is too much to look for in one particularly amazing person but I realize it will be someone special, not an every day guy, but a once in a lifetime man. let's hope I find him soon. :-PPosted by AbbyNormalThe thing about "good parents" - well... that's more plausible in the right mix. I've just now come into the period of my life where I believe I could be a good parent. I always felt a calling to be a mother which I never quite understood but I never felt stable and responsible enough for a child, thus i have none. the Virgo I am dating, while things are not optimal with us right now, may be a very good parent one day. I watch him with the puppy and I like how he will sit and explain to Bubba why he got mad at him/why what he did was bad/wrong and assures him of his love and that he is indeed a good boy (who just did a bad thing). while he does get kinda harsh on him at times, he's always there with him afterwards talking it out with him. we both agree that it is important with children too to sit and explain why they are in trouble, not to simply say "you re bad, go to your room and think about it" like i was told so many times. It doesn't encourage correct behaviour and doesn't correct negative behavior just causes rumination, sulking, and emotional distance. anyway, any light someone can shed will be appreciated!
