Your subconscious is trying to dissuade you from buying a Tesla.
I know, sounds outrageous, but hear me out:
Picnic shelter - represents the tent in which Tesla's are also built, shoddy quality of those cars being a repeated concern.
It requires zero nerves and takes two minutes - obv selfdriving, since zero nerves is required, taking nerves literally here as senses......two minutes is the time it takes for the selfdriving software to get confused on a freeway, resulting in crashing into road fork barrier and concrete. A bit later, a ton of batteries selfcombusts.
No impending doom - well people didn't expect a crash to happen while they were browsing through their morning social media feed on the highway not paying any attention to what the car was doing.
Water - represents the fire brigade trying to extinguish a Tesla battery fire after combustion. Such fire needs lots of water, so lake instead of a stream.
People with lifejackets - prior victims of crashes. Life vest represents clinging to life. Them being in water represents getting hosed down with it during the extinguishing by the fire brigade.

All of a sudden, the lane we're in ends. It terminates into a body of water. The driver swerves into oncoming traffic in the opposing lane. We're about to have to have a head on collision. The next thing I know, I'm standing under a sort of picnic shelter. No picnic tables. It's some distance from where we were, not beyond, but before you actually get to the water. There was no feeling of impending doom at swerving into the oncoming traffic. Just surprise. The mood was still pleasant.
I'm standing under this picnic shelter. Then, I notice a sign attached to one of the support beams. It read, "It requires zero nerves and takes two minutes." Nerves referring to courage.
At that moment, I looked toward the water and watched some people get into a boat and row out into the water where the road rose to meet them. I remember them having on life jackets, although there was nothing that stood out about the jackets. Just an observation. I woke up after that.
There was never any sense of impending doom or danger in the dream. It was pleasant, but there was attention placed on the sign.
I have an idea of what my subconscious may be adressing, but I don't want to give any preconceived notions.
Any thoughts? Does it apply anyone here in some sort of way? I quite often dream precognitively, and occasionally, some parts of the dreams can be quite literal in context.
