Animals in dreams

Hey there!

I was just wondering what are your experiences on animals appearing in your dreams?

Most of my very impressive dreams (most of them I had in time of life changing period) was about dealing with an animal and it seems to me that each animal represents a part of my personality towards someone or something in my life. In most cases dealing with the certain animal in a dream helped me solve or realize the situation in my life and how should I approach it.

I had dreams of wolfs, bears, cats, horses, dogs, birds, dragons...etc. The only lucid ream that I can recall and that was quite impressive one, was about a flight on a hawk.

Also, I've noticed that every time I had to kill an animal in a dream I did it with the wooden spear.

Bears. I dream about bears and the St. Louis Arch. I'm always trying to convince people that the bear is NOT NICE but they don't believe me until it's too late and then the rest of the dream is spent running from the bear. I haven't had an Arch dream in a few years but when the were frequent it usually me trying to walk over it like a staircase or using it like a swing. Go figure

mmm last dream with bears is where I was challenged by a white bear, I was irritated by him and a person that supposed to be my "trainer" told me to fight him which was totally insane but I was so mad that I did it. My trainer yelled: Your weaknesses are your weapon against him, use them. I killed him whit a spear, and they brought me two more, even bigger bears that I also killed. I felt proud and good. At one moment, after the fight, me and my "trainer" were eating and celebrating and there was a lion coming to me. He sniffed me then lied on his back under my feet, started purring softly and fell asleep.

When a bear come to me in a dream I always feel it like a part of myself that represents my inner strength, raw strength that in this case needed to be challenged in order to regain my power/self worth.

@jjessa would be cool if you could confront that bear! don't know about the arch though but you sure have something going on there (overcoming)

I am not an expert on analyzing other people's dreams but now that I am looking at it could be this:

arch can represent your need to reach something that you hold high values for.
bear is the threat, it definitely is something you have to fight with (is it your own nature? that prevents you in reaching your goals, making your way?)

maybe this gives you some kind of insight 😉

Every dream is different but similar. Two that stand out: I was in a room full of people with a glass door. I could see 2 bears outside and I kept warning everyone that there were bears outside and we should do something but they all laughed and eventually started provoking them. Of course the bears start to break down the door. I said "F this" and hid in a closet while the bears attacked everyone else. They eventually found me, I woke up as the bears were tearing down the closet door. Next: My brother was lying in bed with a sleeping grizzly. I kept telling him to get out of the house before the bear woke up but he said that it was a nice bear, a pet. Of course the bear wakes up and is the opposite of nice. Then we end up trying to get out of the house while the bear is tearing it apart.

The only animal I have dreams about are snakes, Ill be walking in a forest or climbing rocks at a beach and I'll see a snake coiled up and the more I look around I see more and more till its apparent that I'm surrounded by shitloads of snakes all ranging from different sizes and breeds but I never see their heads just the bodies tangled together I'm not afraid of them in my sleep but if I'm walking with friends they are always reckless and don't see where they are going and I have to point out to them to be careful where they are walking??_..I have two snake tattoos and I plan to get more because I love snakes lol
