Dreaming of a guys death I've never met!!

Every once in a while I dream of a guy driving a car. He drives for a bit and I'm watching him drive. Basically I'm not present in the dream!! Suddenly! Without any warning the car smashes and his head bashes and bleeds real bad! He looks up as if he can see me, smiles faintly and dies!!! I have this dream quite frequently. After I wake up my head hurts too much and I'm in pain throughout the day! The guy is about 5'8... Has light brown hair and blue eyes...... I don't know why I have this recurring dream! It really irritates me!

He's around 26-30 years old!

Any idea of the time frame? Can you identify the car?

A few years into the future.... I just saw it was a red car! Don't know anything else!

Hmmmm, maybe the guy symbolizes your "animus" and you are seeing it metaphorically die or get weaker? Do you consider yourself a masculine female? Have you tried to get more in touch with your feminine self lately?

@lotus- nope not at all... I'm very feminine, and have been like that since the beginning of time! The problem is that.... I have been having this dream for years and it really bothers me! It feels like I know this person exists... Only I don't know what to do about it!!

@Perspicacity- no... I've never had any of those issues in my life... I get what you're saying but I've never been through any psychological, mental or attachment issues whatsoever... I started having this dream when I was about twelve and it has continued ever since! It's really a problem and I actually have tried hypnosis to get this dream to stop.... But it just doesn't! Is it possible that it maybe a representation of any future events??

I have dreams about people I don't know/never met, all the time.

Apparently (as far as I've read up about dreams) you can't dream of faces you've never seen before. You might think you've never seen them, but you did somewhere, perhaps they were just your regular passer-by on the street. On a conscious level you don't pay attention but your brain registers their face. The reason for this being that the brain can't go further from what it knows. It's like dreaming about death. You wake up when you're about to die in your dream because your brain doesn't know what it would be like to die. I'm sure some folks could argue against this theory, though.

How can you be sure it was the future? Do you know the make or look of the car? What if it was the past? What if you saw your past death, and he saw his future life?

Or/also, it could be in addition to the above or by itself.. really sounds like a dead ringer of past life memory. Especially as you mentioned, it started when you were quite young.
