My father passed away a while ago and I dreamt of him. well a version of him.

the man looked exactly as my father did but he didnt know he was my father. he recognized me, he had a twisted leg in my dream and wore the shirt I bought him. he told me he was looking for his brother but could not find him. when I asked what his brother looked like he said "like me" I recognized our meeting place, it was a café with glass windows and I was there with him as a little girl, at a table by the window.

can anyone interpret this dream?

Why's everyone asking strangers for dream interpretations as if there is an actual dream dictionary. Only you hold the key to your subconscious.

Dreams and memories are basicall all a pool of chemical reaction that store details to help us survive in life.

A tragic event disturbs the normal neurobiological process causing an influx of unbalanced effects.

Your father who was much so important factor in your life is now missing from his place in your life. Your brain tries to adjust but the chemical reactions(emotions) he is tied too remain unstable. And dreams can present us with our deepest fears or enlighten us to push towards our soul calling that we FEEL is important" but the message is always confusing and never direct or clear.

You said the man looked like your father but never recognized who you are but instead said he was looking for a look alike brother of himself. But he wore a shirt you bought him and you were younger version of you sitting by glass window.

These are perception you have of yourself and of your father.

1 he didnt recognize you.

.was he older when he passed and lost cognitive ability to remmber, or did you always feel not as connected or close with your father.

2. He was searching for himself.

.did you feel at points in your life your father changed from 1 person to the other. Or was it a time he treated you 1 way and later changed and you missed that original version of him. And twisted legs could represent pain or confusions or unwelcomed change that altered your perception.

3. You were a little girl.

. you reflected back to your innocent self, where you we're helpless and needed proctection. And the person who was there in your dream was your father" every kid feels their Father is SuperMan and no substitute can replace that.

4.table by the window.

. sitting together alone in a private spot with your father could mean you wanted a last talk, the window reflects protection but it also lets you see everything outside that could be dangerous.

Lost my father in 2012 before Christmas. Had the dreams. They suck because you wake up to reality. But as i say.

People you love may not always stay in your life but they will always stay in your heart.
