Pre-dreaming fiction
The fandom is Attack on Titan. It's literally one of the most popular manga+anime series in Japan and Korea and has copies in like 8 million hands now. Hulu has what's available of the anime series.
I had specific dreams...in 2001!...about the first trip to the castle with the Captain and his Survey Crew. This wouldn't be written until around 2009 or 2010.
Here it is, with the names that were actually people known to me redacted for privacy:

7/15/01--I am part of a group of students in high school i think and we all have different "jobs" in an old building. I am part of the "clean-up" crew. We're moving lots of heavy stuff around. Me and another girl are supposed to clean everything and write a report. I am vaguely aware of [Classmate Guy ]'s presence.

8/28/01--1. I'm in a completely bare, white-walled room with a former female college roommate and a guy I thought was good looking in high schools. The walls in the room are old. Very old. They're yellowing, and have large stains going from roof to floor. There is no carpet, no furniture, no decorations, *nothing* in the room. It's just a dark hardwood floor and yellowing, once-white walls.
It has come to the understanding that these walls were even *worse*, and I had used some sort of bleach cleaner to clean them off. [Female] and [Guy, same guy from previous dream] are walking aroudn with me, complimenting me on the wonderful job I did cleaning the walls, even though I know a lot of cleaning and a repainting is still needed. [Female] does all of the talking. [Guy] doesn't say a word, but follows Female and me through the empty room.
And lately I've had some weird accurate stuff too.
And yes my dream log spans 20 years! I write something down almost every day. Getting good quality sleep has become extremely important to me for this reason. It's fascinating to me (except this freaking weird stuff) and it's all so interesting to explore!!

I have recurring dreams quite often. The setting will take place somewhere I know from real life. Everything about the place is distorted and misplaced though. Somehow certain things make me remember where I am. Other times I create places based off the places I've been, but the dream version is somewhere I've never seen physically. Its normally places you can think and recall the atmosphere and setting, but not the true location because its landscape and not human built. Like at the ocean or in nature. For some reason my whole life I've dreamt these same places on occasion, and the dream version is always the same within the dream. Even if its a bit distorted and slightly different I still know where I'm at, and have memories of the old dreams within the dream. Memories I never have in my awoken life, until i see it in a dream again. If I'm lucky I'll get to explore it a bit, but many times I see my dreams completely turn into other dreams, and have no control over myself, and little control over the dream. Sometimes I can completely change them into what I want though. Lately I've been consistantly recalling the memories of dreams in my dreams, and think "Oh yea that happened in a dream once." But my dreams still feel like real life, and I cant control much. I feel like that means I'm one step closer to lucid dreaming, and truly understanding what it all means.
i used to write fanfiction and write journal entries/stories about my dreams/experiences on an archive website. people wouuld read it and i loved that they always encouraged me to continue those stories but im stumped about how i should write the ending, but i havent been writing about them for almost 2 years now
it's always good to be able to write our dreams/stories. so you can keep them with you as memories or something you can look back to. it's expressive and allows you to explore your imagination

The reason I'm mentioning all of this. Is because when you think about it. It's rather ironic that you are having premonition dreams about an Anime that utilizes and relies upon pemonition type fiction and the idea of consciousness transcending space and time.
I didn't know about the Stephen King reference. My mom is a huge Stephen King fan and has never read The Mist....I'll try to get her a copy lol
I DID know about the bad ending vs. good ending, but absolutely not to this level of detail.
Your post gives me a lot to reread and think about. In fact I'll be thinking about what you wrote for a long time now.

I was panicking at every stage of this because it's so unsettling. This weirdness has been going on for 2 years. One of my coworkers said they'd actually find it terrifying, but I find it comforting in a way knowing that there's something beyond what we see...even if I don't understand why I have this happening to me, specifically, or even if there is some grand reason it's happening to me at all.
I'll share two more. I'm a manga reader and the manga is waaaaay beyond what has been released in the anime, and this is concerning chapter 114-115. If you haven't read that far this will be a

1/21/2019—I’m a passenger on a coach bus and we’re in stormy, rainy, very wet weather going along a somewhat forested road. We have to continue on the road, but the road has a light sawhorse roadblock all across it. To the left are trees and stuff. To the right is a bit of a cliff-bank that then drops off an unknown number of feet. The bus driver is an expert and tops at what he does and doesn’t even shrug...he deftly maneuvers the coach around the block and on the edge of the dropoff and safely swings the bus around to just....keep on truckin’ down the road.

2/1/2019--I’m laying on the ground in what the background seems to be a violent, war torn environment. There is a creature aside of me that I can barely even pin the form of down that’s supposed to be like the Fauna in RWBY. It’s called “Bunny” and has an adorable, plushie baby bunny face like a child’s amigurumi or velour toy. I feel extremely tender toward “Bunny” and I stroke its “face” o_o by the eyebrows with a thumb, like a lover would. "Bunny" says [something] in their “communication” or “language”, Bunny tells me [something is] a confusing gesture and then tells me how to make it less confusing....so I do. I move my thumb from Bunny’s eyebrown to its mouth, like a lover ready to kiss the beloved.

And by the way, lots of them are this intense. If it was just some casual "I'm hanging out with these characters, that's so cool!" kinda thing this wouldn't bother me like this. I don't want to write on the fandom boards because I don't want people to constantly bug me about this, because I can't control it. I mean, 2001....I didn't even know this was gonna be a thing back then!

I lift my right hand to my face to help me think, and I notice that someone has OPERATED on my right hand, removed a bone in it and the very small tip of my index finger has been cut off! Background, is that I've been actively interested in dreaming for almost half my life. I have a dream log spanning almost 20 years.
I am involved in a fandom where it's kind of unusual, as the story isn't quite "complete" yet...it's released monthly.
But I keep predreaming events from this fandom. Every month. Consistently. Accurately. I like many different narrative works across lots of platforms (games, manga, anime, literature, etc) and different works appropriate for all ages...and this isn't happening with other fandoms.
I've gone back in my dream journal and found material that is OBVIOUSLY referencing this fandom even as far back as 2001. It wouldn't be officially released until 2009.
I feel...weird...and...awful? ...posting about this on the fandom boards because even though we talk about dreams once in a while on there and precognition isn't a foreign idea to them, i think i might not get seriously. I mean, i don't know if i would take me seriously!
Has anyone had this happen or does anyone have insight? I've asked around other forums related to fiction. I've already mentioned this to some coworkers I trust and have used other means within my faith to address this.
But...i'm always looking for insight. anyone??
