Someone please help decipher this dream.

I had a dream where i was standing in a pond about thigh high in water. There was a fish that i caught and ate (i dont remember much about this part). Moments later a bigger fish about 1 and half feet in length was floating near the surface where i was standing just staring at me. I had a gun in my hand and shot the fish in the head at point blank range. I had just ate a fish before this so i wasn't hungry and just left this fish alone and walked out of the pond. To my surprise, the fish i just shot, followed me out of the water and sat next to me on the shore with a hole in its head from the gun shot wound. I think it was even trying to tell me something. I remember saying why is this fish following me?! Like i was annoyed at it for following me. It was strange and i have no idea what to make of this dream.

You're right, but why the gun? And why was i annoyed at the fish following me out of water. It sat besides me talking to me gently but i was frustrated at it and just wanted it to leave me alone. Then i woke up during the frustration.
