Thigh-high boots

How do you shorter ladies pull this look off? Without looking like a hooker? Without looking like a little torso with huge boots on?

I would like a pair of these boots...

Any suggestions?

Oooooo those so hot this season. I think it would make your legs look longer, especially if you got the point toe one.

I have a pair in the back of the closet but I'm a little shy to wear them in fear of looking like a hoe. LOL Maybe I should be brave and try em out.

I figured out when and how to wear these boots (although I don't want thigh-high boots anymore. I'll opt for the pair that go just over the knee - still sorta thigh-hig like just not as extreme)-

1- WITH a hell of a lot of confidence 🙂
2- With thick opaque leggins, a form fitting long scoop neck tank top, and a long flowing jersy sweater: all in a monochromatic, say black or gray, color scheme.
3-At night at social gatherings, clubs, or just hanging out.

Wearing it this way will take the skeeze effect away - it'll look expensive and classy instead.

GS- DEF pull out the boots this season and wear them with a sweater dress. a dress with a turtleneck makes up for the excess leg you're showing 😉

I know!! I thought the same thing when I first saw it. I thought hmm $ 179 for gucci boots not bad. Than I was like... Wait a minute no way gucci boots can be that cheap! Look closer and you'll see the sweater is $ 149 and there is a dress underneath that sweater for $ 179. The gucci boots are unlabeled because they're THAT expensive.

Yeah I was looking online and gucci boots are selling for over a thousand on eBay yikes!!!

Damn! Oh well... I really don't know if I would have the guts. LOL It looks SO cute though.

I'm loving the thigh high boots. Hot! But my problem is that I am tall...5'8. Most of those boots have a 4 inch heel. With those boots on I'm lisa leslie. But USCtarusgirl has been working with me on wearing high heels. But yes the boots are super hot and sexy! 179 is not too bad. Especially not for a pair of good boots. I recently bought a pair of black leather michael kors over the knee boots. But they are not nearly as hot as those bebe boots in the pic.

Ginger, my bday is coming up too. I might have to make those my bday present to myself!

I would only change two things:

1-switch the blazer for a free-flowing sweater
2-no necklace

BTW - her sister Khloe is around your height and she rocks these boots very well.

Yea. I am. I just bought a pair of peep toe mary janes with a pretty high heel. I am going to get out of this heel fear that i have, if it kills me!!

Lmao!! ohh ok. that is a completely different situation altogether.

I'm 4' 11" and curvy with butt and boobs and small waist... thick, strong, muscular legs - think athletic, like an (ex) gymnast or something. So no, I cannot wear thigh-highs, alas. Skirts don't generally work on me, either. Maybe if I was on that one show What Not To Wear, they'd be able to tell me exactly what skirts I CAN pull off? I have the confidence - I lack the legs LMAO

I sure would have liked to try these things over the years, but SHORT HOOKER is not a good look for me LOL

LOL Nefer. I have an Aries girl friend built alot like you and she is SO picky about what she wears because of her "build". She's tiny!! But she won't wear skirts or boots either.

When we'd go out together she'd "forbid" me to wear heels because I towered over her and made her feel "dumb". I think the tiny packages would be fun to work with. You know what they say about dynomite coming in small packages 😉 I use to be jealous of her when we were in our teens because I was taller then the boys and really lanky (think monkey arms and legs that were storkish). I was just akward and there she was strutting her little butt around. LOL Good times 🙂

libra...just rock it baby...and have the confidence to back those boots up and whatever outfit you chose to wear. Just go out and buy them if people look at you thats because they want to sport them as well. You will encourage other women to step it up..

Well, I tried on a pair of the thigh-high boots in dark chocolate brown with a 4 inch heel and laughed myself silly - cuz that's exactly how I looked - SILLLLLAY!!! LOL. I'm just too short and once I had them on I KNEW that I wouldn't have the confidence to sport these boots - they'd be wearing me, very over-powering. The sales girl kept telling me they looked wonderful on me. Yeah, right! Only my money would be looking wonderful in her register.

I'll just have to stick with ankle boots and knee-high boots. Oh, well everything isn't for everyBODY.

I still admire them though.

wow there sexy. I think the best ones are the ones with the tassles in black with a pair of dark navy jeans with a long shirt and thick belt or a nice leather jacket. or in the winter a long jumper with leggings gives a boring look abit of an edge keep the pvc for the bedroom.

I've always hated thigh high boots because of how begger my uncovered part of the tighs end up looking. I mean, if I had the legs of that model posted up here I'd wear it with millions of cute little dresses and sweater dresses! But nope, I'm curvy on the bottom and it's going to take allot to figure out how to pull it off.
