Gemini and Gift Giving

Ok yall know I don't talk much about me and my Gem, yes I am still with him. Best of friends worst of enemies. Any way he brought me a laptop for Christmas but the way he presented it was a bit drag.

He calls and says "I am out front unlock the door" well I get up unlock the door. We are still on the phone
e just chatting away so I say "are you at the door" he says "Just make sure the door is open I will be in there"
so I say "ok" and go in the room. A minute later he comes in I am sitting on the bed and he says "I brought your present stands in front of me case and all pulls the laptop out and says "Merry Christmas I said I was going to get you a laptop"

I sat there in ah surprised and speechless.. I got nervous and speechless. So I got up and hugged him really tight and kissed him.

So my question is. Is this how they give gifts, before the occassion?

I read somewhere that "Just when you think you have them pegged, they throw a curve ball? :-)

I did thought I had him down. Oh well another year of dating. lol

Knoq that I thoink about it my mom is the same way. She would call me and say do you want or whatever or she would just pack stuff up brought used, something she don't want anymore and just pack it up and send it to me.

My gem is the same way. Lol

I guess I should have expected it if I would have thought about my moms ways. Her and my gem are a lot alike but I know I can't bank on that.

I know he is way different from me (like night and day) but the bond we share is the Same type I have with my mom. It took a while for me and my mom to be close not only as mother and daughter but as friends.

My gem and I are the best of friends but we have a ways to go and I am n no rush to get there.

I guess I have to understand more of how he shows he care.

i gave my libra his christmas gifts a month in advanced. i couldn't wait that long!! LOL!

yea, i'm guilty of this as well. i'll clean it up or give it a new makeover, before i give it to someone. like, i found this old jewelry box and i knew my oldest would love it. so, i stripped it down, repainted it, gut it out and replaced that and gave it to her for christmas. i almost gave it to her a day early, cuz i was just so excited over how well it turned out! lol!

The story behind it was iwhen I wnet to Black Friday to get on along with my flat screen I missed getting so when I talked him later that day I told him I never got it they were sold out. Then a few days later he came over we were talking and he calmly said "I am going to get you a laptop" I said "for real?" He said and something else". I expect more gifts to come, he's been hittng the pavement like crazy. He has that damn Saturn in Capricorn like myself. LOL




I did like the calmness in him as to the way he did it.

I feel youmy mom is so like that lol, she gives so much to me and my sisters, her grandchildren. It funny because we all laugh when she is the good twin she just gives gives and gives, my son would come home and say "ma Precious"( she does not want to be called Grandma) was the good twin she did this that the other. Sometimes I would have to call her and say "Ma why you give so n so" she be like "don't tell me what to give to my grandchildre and start laughing" you gotta love here. LOL

Wow..well i got my gift...after christmas...while waiting for him about an hour...he wanted me to meet him, but I just thought that was something he shld do on his own...He shows up at 5 30 gives me my gift...and leaves for a meeting five minutes later-- goes home..calls me about 10 stating that he wishes I would come over— I thanked him for gift and said no thanks.....its too late? Keep in mind we are just friends --- yeesh!

LOL I very rarely can wait to give my gift to someone until the occassion. I can't wait. I just can't do it. ANd i also buy pretty extravagant gifts for the ones close to me. I LOVE giving. I enjoy gifts, but i definitely get more enjoyment out of giving. 🙂 I am rarely late giving a gift.

Well the census is in "don't expect the gift on the occassion" lol its all good. I appreciate what my gem did.

I find that he wants me to call him if I need help. Take me starting my new job. I have to work like a month almost before I get paid so he says I will bring you money to get back and forth and if you need more let me know. I was like ooook lol I appreciate his help but I am so independent its really hard for me to ask for help. I am ok for now will see next week.
