Gemini and the truth

Okay I am typing from phn so sorry for any typos. Here it goes..... I have made an observation about gemini peeps. When the truth is ugly they don't like looking at it. I was dating a gemini and noticed this and I also see this with gemini relatives. So gemini peeps what is your take. In my opinion a good friend will tell me the honest truth even if it is not pretty.

You are right.... gemini's have been some of my best friends, but they can't handle the brutal truth sometimes. I'm having some very tricky issues with my roommate who is a gemini, because she is manipulative and louzy liar. She lies about the most stupid things, and when the truth comes out, she remains silent. She has been cheating on her boyfriend, doing things that he has asked her not to do, and then expects me to cover for her.

Waste of time, and a poor excuse of a woman, in my pov.

i dont agree. it depends on how mature the person is. also, in many situations it's not necessary to give all the messy details (whether it's your best friend or not). it doesn't matter if you think the receiver of the information is strong enough to handle it or not

Well I know and have observed this gemini having a substance problem and I asked him blantly 'do you know what it is even like to live without being under the influence of something?' I asked him if he can remember the last time he went without a day of without pot, alcohol, or pills? He than danced around the issue and started picking me apart? I was just trying to be honest and concerned about his well being.

So that is what I mean by handle bro.

In my world it's like this, if you can't handle the truth, you probably won't get the truth. That sounds harsh but it's my reality. I don't like or need excessive drama and i dispise confrontations. I avoid that at almost all costs.

however, i do appreciate direct and honest questions and people, makes life simple. So if you can be direct and i know there isn't serious ramifications from being honest, i will be honest all day long with you. But if you ask, then can't handle what i have to say then no i'll sugar coat, white lie or whatever.

That's how i believe since i was in that long distance friendship then lover mode with my bull, we established honesty above all else. I don't care if it hurts my feelings, i'm a big girl i can handle it. Just tell me straight, and i do the same.

That's why i think most people tell a white lie to begin with. they dont' want to tell you out right cuz then there is the aftershock and it's nag nag nag nag or other more serious shit. Then it developes because it becomes a habit and spills into other ares other then just something harmless.

Start out honest.. end up honest.

I agree. I have a couple Gem friends and when they dont want to admit the truth the dance ALL around it, they walk away, they shut you down and try to shut you up. Picking the other person apart is a real good tactic they use when they dont want to admit to something. And yes this notoriously pertain to their feelings, which they hate to talk about but swear you dont acknowledge. Its like they expect the acknowledgement of their feelings to come in the instant gratification of the request that this feeling was tied to regardless of what they are asking you to do. Or they try for the victim, thats my favorite. Not the battered victim but they exaggerate themselves as the "bad guy" as if you cant catch on and will be like "no you're not bad at all, here have whatever you want"....silly

Sf you are so right on the money about the gemini victim. Yep he reminds me of how I don't treat him well and when I tell him it is not me that doesn't treat you well it is YOU who does not treat you well. I remind that he does best playing the victim. I will not lie he has treated me golden however I wish he would put the same amount of care and love back into him as he has done for me. I try my best to be a person of self-accountability and the victim role drives me crazy. Even when someone treats me bad I try to find where I was wrong and how I allowed that person to occupy my life for so long.

I told him over and over I wish he would take the truth and use it to his advantage.

I guess you take a horse to the water but you cannot force them to drink.

Hi. I am a Taurus/Gemini cusp and I want truth from everyone and everything, and when I am wrong, I'd rather go and admit it to your face and apologize; this actually makes me feel good and seems like the other person respects me for that as well. I hate hate hate lying, I almost NEVER lie... 99.99999999999% of the time I don't lie, unless I absolutely have to and it won't hurt anybody. I get very upset when others lie, because I'd rather hear the truth than their lies.

Here's what I know about Gems. Once they form an opinion of you they seldom if ever change it. I had a long debate about this and even though every gem will deny it. THose of us who have had dealings with these strange people 😉 know the truth. I still admire them though. I love that they can adapt to any situation. I just hate their stubborness. Coming from a goat thats saying alot.

This is true to some extent eric. However, we are seldom wrong if ever when it comes to forming an opinion about people. In the end they always, ALWAYS prove us correct. I have tried to explain this gift to "Non-Mercurians" that each planet has it's own vibrations(sound) that give off a certain frequency. The ancients called this the "Sacred Circut". Mercury is the "Messenger". Our "Opinions" are not even our own. It's what the universe tells us. Know this. Virgos also have this gift. They just use different tools to build the same house. Now, our opinions are not always NEGATIVE. Your comments have a negative feel to them. But, I digress. Being a Capricorn I'm sure you get opinions formed about you all of the time from Gemini's. 😉

Strange is what people who are not "In the know" always say about things they do not understand. Remember: You can see the world better from above than you can below. In the end even the goat needs air to live. This is why all of the elements should make special effort to understand each other. Or, you will die. Not in the physical but in the metaphysical. The latter is far worse.

Even the word "Stubborness" is a learned word. It doens't mean it's right. It's just a word that the masses agree that has meaning or substance. It does not. Evolve brother eric.
