Geminis and Cell Phones

This is one of the more peculiar observations I made about Geminis.

I have 2 female friends, 1 uncle and one grandmother born in the month of the twins.

I find that my female friends and uncle, often could care less about answering their cell phone. It seems to me they often leave their cell phones in some "far off" place or maybe are just generally disinterested in answering. Many a time.

The two girls in particular, 9/10 times they would not answer my calls. I dunno, maybe it was just they did not care to answer my calls but to see my uncle doing it too rose my suspicion of it being a Gemini trait.

My grandmother on the other hand, a first decan, has always been keen on answering telephone calls, but these are land line and expected because of her involvement in a religious group. She too sometimes, would not be in the mood to answer calls.

So is it that Geminis get tired of talking a lot or do they sometimes feel disinterested in phone calls?

yea i would say we tend 2 get tired of hearing ourselfs talk... or jus da fact we not in da mood

True G.L. I'll add to that. We get BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I know I'm guilty of this when I say that I look at my caller I.D. and ignore the call if I know it's not going to be a stimulating conversation. I don't care who it is. And I have 2 cell phones. And ignore them both. Usually that's the beginning of the end for the person on the other end of the call. 🙂

Cell phones make me anxious! Sometimes I just put the thing on silent and hide it somewhere for a couple hours. Also, I cannot stand contacting people first and them not answering. Then it makes me even more anxious waiting for their reply/phone call back. I hate cell phones!

I do the same at times. We only answer if we feel like blabbing 😛

i have a cell phone. it's sits, dead, on the counter. i don't like to talk on the phone. only when it's necessary and then i keep it short.

i constantly screen phone calls. even when it's my best friend, i have to be in the mood to wanna talk on the phone. if someone does manage to get me on the phone i tend to get distracted easily and its hard for me to pay attention and none of the calls ever really make it past 5 minutes. i was born on the cusp so maybe that attributes to it?

I hate my cell phone, yet, I can not live w/out it !
I too have my cell w/caller id tones, if i dont wanna talk to those folks, i dont answer, and more likely to take my time returning the call IF I DO return the call. I think it makes me crazy, I wanna hear from certain folks, those closer to me, that matter, but my number has over 500 contacts in it, business/personal/fam and somedays i can not get a break! I often leave my phone out in my truck, often!

The easily distracted is a Gemini/Sagittarius thing.
Calls not making it past 5 minutes sounds like a Gemini mood thing lol

I'm sorry, I find that defeats the point of having a phone.

I don't get called, so I don't have this problem lol

LOL, I wish, then when its quite and lonely, my head thinks other things< LOL

calls are long for me, not short, I get called 24/7 by friends, family, mostly men friends who want to talk, no they aint more than friends!

I screen calls all the time. When I'm in a foul or need-to-be-alone mood, or if I know I will cause an argument or just blast at the person on the other end (esp when I'm in the middle of a fight), I will not take the call till I'm in a better mood. with my significant other, i am not beyond using ignoring a call to make the other person ignored, esp i have been calling them and they havent replied. petty, but true.

Once I'm feeling better, i may or may not return the call. i will never say i screened their call, or even give an explantaion.

There are exceptions:
(a) my sis, mum, dad, really good friends (just 2 on the list) who will understand that i'm in a bad mood - because then if theres an emergency theyll tell me right away and hang up, and if not, they will be ok with me not feeling like talking to them at that point of time
(b) if i know the person on the other end needs me, then i can take the call and talk about their problem. if they take the problem back to me, ill find a way to hang up asap.
(c) a work call

another thing that bugs the hell out of me - bad network signal.
