I had sleeping issues in the Past. But I take magnesium citrate for it and its amazing. Its actually common so its not sign specific.

How's your sugar intake? Sugar will fuck you up.

Do you drink caffeine?

Do you exercise?

Cell phones and computers emit blue wave light that destroys the melatonin that's produced behind your eyes.

I will start my day with a cup of coffee, which I do add cream and sugar too, however, that is it for caffeine/sugar intake. If I intake anymore then that, I'll literally be bouncing of all the walls. I don't really have a workout, rather then my job, which is very physical work. My body is in good athletic shape from it. I do use my cell a good bit.

1. Exercise regularly....3-5 times weekly. Exercise, especially intense as intense cardio and lifting weights, speeds up your metabolism, removes body toxins, increases HGH production and removes mental stress. By the end of the day, your body is tired and ready to sleep.

2. Cut out caffeine AFTER 5pm. Caffeine can affect your metabolism for hours. It can also keep your mind racing and cause tachycardio (rapid heart rate).

3. Cut down on heavy carbs, especially before bed. They are harder to metabolize and often cause indigestion/gas etc. It's ok to have a simple carb (some oatmeal etc. prior to bed, but do so several hours before sleeping). I often drink a protein shake prior to bed that has a few carbs. Carbs help your body during fasting hours. If you eat a lot of carbs right before you go to bed, not only will you feel uncomfortable but the carbs actually PREVENT HGH production, which is vital for cell healing, growth and SEROTONIN production, (a neuro transmitter) which induces sleep.

4. On an empty stomach, take one or two Melatonin 5mg. Melatonin is a hormone which increases Serotonin production, which induces sleep.

5. On an empty stomach, take two or three GABA 500mg capsules. GABA also helps produce Serotonin production and increases HGH production.

6. Close blinds and make your room as dark as possible. Our body's have a natural cycle called the "Circadian Rhythm". It is regulated by daylight. This is why the old saying, "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise" actually has some real merit. When you go to bed after 11pm, you are undermining this cycle. It's also a fact that around 11pm, your body begins its toxification process. When your body can't do this in deep REM sleep, it undermines your health.

7. Finally, I have found that having a sound machine (I turn on the Rain button), really helps. It wipes out other household noises and after time, it becomes almost hypnotic.

Honestly, if you try these steps (1-7), I think you will find some success. Good luck.

I have the same issues as you; I can't turn my brain off, even when I'm exhausted. I have learned through years of practice that steps 1-5 usually work.

It's funny you mention this. It recalls my childhood recollections of my mother playing music in my room at nights. It seems even as I child I rarely slept. Perhaps I shall bring this technique back or at least give it a try.

Oh mannnnnnnnn, the story of my life!

Even when I turn off my computer, I still have access to my cell phone which makes me google random stuff. So imagine this...whatever comes to my mind (usually late at night), I have to google it to find out more! UGH!!
This alone can keep me awake much longer than usual.

Random stuff I googled lately:
-what happened to Serbian monarch Alexandar Karadordevich
-best leave in conditioner
-reviews of Josie Maran's moisturizer with spf 47
-is it really true that Louis Vitton owns Sephora?
-what is mutagen?
-side effects of tramadol when taken more than 200 mg daily along with glass of wine
-Kurdish culture
-ISIS
-ebola virus
-what to do in Munich, Germany
-Bastian Schweinsteiger's photo and bio

Any person whom uses Google this much, is definitely an awesome person!! My fellow Geminian, Your divine wisdom is casting your BrightLights outward for all to see. Anyone who utilizes "The Google Way" this much, is definitely my friend!! Google and I, well, we travel side by side every day!!

BrightLights,

you and I would get along great. I too am interested in all those topics. I research so much stuff, it's mind blowing. MOST of my info comes from alternative news sources. The MSM is a joke and completely state run.

My coworker is totally naive and dumber than a rock. She lives for FB, texting and going to bars with friends. When I tried conversing with her about Ebola or the fact the US's Southern Border is not being properly protected from illegals coming in, some who are M13 gang members, she has no clue what I'm talking about. I swear the fax machine has more neurons than she does.

When I'm bored at work, I research conspiracy's on youtube. the latest one that is intriguing is that the real Paul McCartney was killed in a car accident in 1966 and replaced by a look a like named William Campbell from Canada. I had heard about this before but never gave it much thought. After researching it quite a bit, I now believe it's a very good possibility.

My brain never shuts down. I love to learn and am insanely inquisitive. Sounds as if you have those same symptoms of a Gem too.

Hey gemini64, it's me GC(geminicandle)!!
I know you and I talked bit before, on here🙂

Yes, I agree about everything you said. I have friends like that and I had to distance myself too just so I would not go dumb or crazy!

I remember when I was first starting community college in 2003 or so, I had this professor. Scalia was her last name. Tough, Italian heritage feminist from New York. Accent and all, lol.
Anyway, she told us something that stuck with me: "google is your friend".
She said in next decades to come, we will enter information age. We will depend on information. We will need to access it and process it quickly. It sounds like heaven for Geminis!!!!😛

And mind you, this was some 10 years ago before all the smart phones, etc...

i understand what your feminist gal said to you about Google being your friend. What she meant was accessing info each day and absorbing it. i concur. but i hate Google. one of the biggest spies in cohorts with the NSA. I don't use Google, I use Startpage, which blocks spying.

Now if you want some great sites that will fill your brain with info you can chew on, check these out. you will garner more real world info about what's actually going on in the world and who is actually running/controlling/pulling the strings than you'll ever get using a Google search. Google is notorious for blocking or removing certain aspects of the truth that can be found on these sites. (BELOW)

I have so much info in my brain, it's scary. I try to share it with those who will open their minds and their eyes even if only for a little bit. Problem is people have been brainwashed so much into "paradigms" that once you give them honest truth backed up with many substantive info/actions/documents etc., they can't deal.

it's far easier to believe in unicorns and fantasy land than reality. this is the reason why Hollyweird (one big Luciferian cult whose role model is Allister Crowley. (Look him up and you'll understand) pushes so much crap on the public in terms of TV and Movies. People think when they get up each day and go to work, they are living reality. To some extent they are, but to a greater extent, they aren't. They are living in the Matrix. The Irony is Hollyweird puts out programs and movies that tell you exactly what's going on with taboo topics (time travel, aliens/UFO's, pandemic

The reason why they do this is because they realize most people, especially Americans who have been dumbed down for the past 40 years in public education (UN's Agenda 21) are too apathetic to care nor understand how they are being controlled and manipulated. Hech, advertising alone is an art form of manipulation. All General Electric appliances can now also do surveillance on you in your own home. This is violation of the 4th amendment. But most Americans don't have a clue, it's pathetic.
