This holds true for me. If I'm really interested I'll find any excuse to interact verbally with the object of my affection. A telltale sign is the depth and breath of wordplay; he'll probably try to figure out your interests, poke and prod you a bit all the while charming the pants off of you (well we like to think that we are). People are fascinating puzzles and none more so than one you're genuinely attracted to.

VERY TRUE. You guys ask a lot of questions. The Gems I know also liked to engage in debate with me which I like and tell me about their interest.
Very funny people too. That's another sign, If they try to make you laugh. You guys really don't need to try at all though.

You've been confuse about the same guy for years..every single time he says something, you come in here asking the same questions...what does he mean...does he serious about me?...how can I tell when he is in love?...I mean,,you don't even understand him at all? You guys are not a good match, you don't understand his words at 99.99% of the time. Also, He has made excuses to cancel your meet up, and yet you did not get it. You want many things that he can't give you, but stubborn you keep manupulating him by sending him texts about unimportant stuffs. Cauze, you want to take a sneak pick to wether or not he still wants you. I bet he still wants you as much as he wants the other girls that he is talking to as well. The only thing that he doesn't want is a high maintenance girl who constantly looking for validation to satisfy her emotional needs such as yourself.

Why don't you make it simple, ask him straight, "hey, I love you and want to be with you forever. What do you think if we become a couple again?"
I'm talking about the facts here. Btw, How about focusing yourself to the new guy? I thought you said you had someone new already in your life, since this gem guy didn't pass the test that you created last time. You said that it was his lost. But obviously, your head is still messed up. Chasing him all along while he is just sitting at home playing guitar and not making a move at all. If he is passive, he is just playing,,,simple. Thanks for the advise Lust Š But I have been discussing 2 different Gems... One who was a friend and turns out that's what was best for both of us... The more recent has been my ex. We were together 4 years and discussed kids, where we would have our reception etc... Just I dunno he is struggling with things about himself trying to be more independent and all. So I think we are in a state of limbo with each other and other factors. He assured me he is not seeing anyone and I believe him. I do know him I just can't fight his inner demons for him ž
