How to talk to stubborn Gemini

My brother is a Gemini and he makes bad deals financially most of the time especially when it comes to cars. I warn him, everybody warns him and he just does the opposite. It isn't a control issue with me because everyone around him tells him don't do it. Ex: he'd buy a car that clearly going to be a lemon very soon and then get's "you bought it as is and there's nothing we can do to help you" speech. He gets scammed a lot and it is infuriating to see because it's obvious from the start. I don't know how to talk to him so he would listen. He has mercury in Taurus, I don't know if that's why he is so stubborn for his own good. Any suggestions.

ok, EVERYONE, but what about him? how does he feel? Gems have a way of getting in a rut of defying people. At least I do. lol. but, maybe in some bizarre way it all makes sense to him. You say Everyone and You, but what about Him?



This is what I was getting at. Gems follow what feels right or sparks their imagination and have an unquenchable optimism that things will work out perfectly. I wish I had a nickel for every time someone tried to talk sense into me for my own good! If I had listened, my life would not have been nearly as interesting or fun.

I'm reminded of the time, many years ago, when I wanted to drive from Eugene to San Francisco in a van that was on the blink. A mechanic told me my engine would blow during the trip. I laughed it off because I thought he just didn't understand that the universe was guiding me and that I would make it just fine. Of course, the engine blew halfway there. Anyone who would have told me not to take the trip would have been pulling his hair out wondering why I would never listen to reason. But, what ended up happening was that I coasted into a tiny little town and got a job there so that I could buy a new engine. I had the most wonderful adventures and made life-long friends. That's what happens to a Gem because they're headstrong about following their own whims. Things do work out- maybe not in the way anyone around the Gem would wish for them to, but in a way that suits the Gem.

But, there's a flip side to things like that. If he's always making questionable decisions and then relying on other people to bail him out, then the people bailing him out have a right to put their foot down. Sometimes, things work out great for the Gem becuase there's someone there to absorb the fall. In that case, he needs to understand that he's affecting you and that you're not going to be his parent.

It would be helpful to accompany him on trips to buy cars, since you're a level-headed cappy. I can't be trusted to buy things, either. When I went house-hunting, I kept getting enchanted with the IDEA of the house I was touring. My husband had to make sure to point out the sagging floors and ceilings or I would have brushed right over them with my imagination. Maybe your brother is resistant to advice, but maybe he wouldn't be resistant to a team buying effort? The more the merrier!

Buying in a group that might work. But it has to be more than just me and him 'cause he just ignores what I tell 'em when he is in that kinda like a zone.

If you are a typical Cappy, this may be one of the worse things for you watch. Money does not mean the same thing for Gem and Cap. The only thing I can add is I hope nobody bails him out of any financial mess.

I don't try to pressure him. It's just he tells me what happened and it's hard to let those bastards take advantage of him. And nothing really irritates him; he is chill about everything even insults. Some people take advantage of you if you don't let them know that you know what they're up to. His moon is in Aqua.

Oh ok, so he's telling you about what he did but doesn't want to take advice from anyone, Hey i feel you i know it can be hard to sit back and let some fools take advantage of your brother. You said his mercury is in Taurus, if im not mistaken Taurus is a fixed sign and so is his moon so i think he will have a hard time taking advice. He's gonna have 2 find a way to listen and accept other people's opinions if he can't do that you have to let him be!

Gemini learn as they go, they make tons of mistakes is just the way we are specially guys.
you got to find someone he respects and admires tell him. we are very logical as well.
you got to find out why he feels the need to buy expensive cars. he is probably being influence by the fact that girls like that kind of thing.
so just tell him. dude girls like that yes. but the right girl wont care and she will love him for who he is no matter what. cause we are special in so many ways.
