In all of the reading i have done so many times i have read that Gemini's are attracted to different cultures. We supposedly like to experience other nationalities and are attracted to this.

I want to know from you all if this is true in your worlds.

I know me, i love diversity. I need diversity in my life. I don't see race when i date someone and have always been attracted to other races as well as my own. Even young crushes there were other races. The first boy i kissed in the play ground was mixed so for me this goes way back.

So, would this diversity apply to gender, also?

Interracial dating isn't something I even think about, really. I'm white and historically, I've been with men of other races .. and I don't think I noticed .. I pretty much was only attracted to their male attributes.

However, when I look at this topic logically, I think there is a division between the races for a reason. There is suppose to be difference, or we'd all be one race by now.

I'm not sure what I mean by that remark ^^^^ and haven't really pondered it much further, but, likely will now. It just seems to me that humans have been around for EVER ... and there is still a division, we haven't mixed throughout history to the point that we are all just one race now.

Why? Why is there still a difference?

I am dating interracial, it is new to me, past two years. Aqua, Virgo, Libra, all give me issues. LOL, but I am into cultural differences, as i have a long line of diverse friendships for years, and just for input info, my family is classic redneck racist that i was raised in. Mom has the most open opinion and my dad is accepting the fact that i am grown, now they say if he treats me right and i am happy, so be it. I aint found one yet that really really has treated me "right".

I am a mixed race person and I am currently seeing a foreign gemini who was so intrigued by my ethnicity that he will admit it was what first drew him to me. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that the other geminis that i dated were probably initially drawn to me for the same reason.

I wanted to address P-Angel's comment:

...It just seems to me that humans have been around for EVER ... and there is still a division, we haven't mixed throughout history to the point that we are all just one race now.

Why? Why is there still a difference?...

I feel that there will always still be a difference as long as cultures don't have the opportunity to meet and interact with one another. That is changing rapidly with the increase in travel and increasing access to the internet. My current squeeze is from a foreign country where much of the population has never even seen a person of another race or ethnicity in real life so the first thing he wanted to do when he came to the US was to interact with people of all different ethnicities and colors.

Having said that, there will always be people who prefer to stick to their "own kind" and I respect that. I understand that for some it's not necessarily a disparagement to other races...for some it is a comfort zone, it's what they know and have been used to their whole life...or maybe even a crazy desire to preserve the bloodline...lol. My chinese grandfather laughed when someone asked him why he was marrying my american grandmother...didn't he want a good chinese girl to preserve the bloodline? My grandfather's answer... "There are a billion other chinese men in this world. Let them do it! I want to marry the woman that I love!" 🙂 They were happily married until the day he died.

I have a Gemini rising, and always date other cultures.

The standard line in my family when I said "I have a new boyfriend" was "So which country is he from this time?"

My ex-husband was Guatemalan. My most recent boyfriends were from Poland and the Ukraine.

If I date an American guy, he has to be weird in some way -- like a mathematician, or an antique dealer or something like that. I can't do normal.

So it is a Gem thing. Look at Angelina Jolie's family.

CombatingMyGeminiSister I haven't told you I'm white and she's black, sigh still hurts, at least my job interview went great (waiting to hear from them) considering the fact I got dumped just the day before. And no need to mention aqua is a humanitarian which means anti-racist which also means if I click with a non-white gal there's no way I let others affect me and her.

I am with you EmGEM, well put!

I am a equal opportunity dater/ if i like you, its on, isn't this also the attitude that gets us called "easy" among other things?

My bad, if i like the man and have chem, it don't matta what race he is or size.......i do have certain attractions and preferences, and it is NOT bad boy syndrome.....LOL

I don't spend time w/ones i am not attracted too either, i don't waste my or their time, as i do make quite a few friends (platonic) out of men who were initially interested in "dating" me. Do you all have the same in your single lives?

Rimming, ewwwwwwwwwwwww (I had to look that up in the urban dictionary)

He is Virgo, this is why he went away according to these boards, LOL, he just POOF disappeared, again, words dont meet actions.

I am all the better for his POOF act, this time, not so concerned, I cant be.

As for the "boomer sooner" explanation, WOW!

I am really not into such,(restraints) never done it w/him, but did suggest it, LOL, peaked his interest and scared him off, really, he just has to do what he has to do and so do I. I dont hold it against him.

Somethings are not rejection, but redirection, we share a connection, he is not ready for, and I was. He has to stay away, otherwise, he is not in control, right?

This is a bit much for me to put out here....but here goes......

25th~ His running away is un-evolved virgo? He is in his 40's and I believe he is evolved, but in a emotional state of emergency so to speak.

Serial commiter? I am not real sure what you mean by this......could you please elaborate sir.

I dont consider seeing things through a bad trait at all, so i guess to each their own on that, eh?

I guess i should elaborate, by text, which i hate by the way, his prefered method of communication as it would seem. I suggested "restraints" as he has stated "no restraints" in the relationship we have, he "had enuff of those in his marriage for 13 years",this is his quote, you see, two different kinds of restraints and a play on words. I would go there w/the right partner, he would definitely be one i would allow and do such w/as i trust him, not real sure he is deserving of such trust at this point, but i do trust him.
we should really take these detailed discussion behind closed pm's as this is kind of a bit much for me, but i am putting it out here sir, wow!

Thank you 25th!

This is interesting. One Gem guy I know does date other ethnicities all the time. The Gem I'm seeing now is white, but interracial dating is nothing new to me. I don't think it's so much the race that the Gem is attracted to, but the diversity that allows the Gem to explore more. The more worldly you are, the more attractive you seem to be. My gem loves that I've traveled and I'm trying to be multilingual. I don't think he even considered my ethnicity. He approached me like any other person.
