Should I Contact Him?

Alright.

So as most of you know I came to this board originally for my Scorpio. The infamous one I swear Ive posted like 1000 posts about.

Well something really out of the norm has happened. Normally he is always on this game we play together. And he hasn't logged in since 2/18/13. He doesn't live in my area (if you read my posts hes in grad school in CA now). Last thing I knew was that he was up in Chicago visiting his dad who he hasn't seen in years. Not sure what that was all about but his relationship with his father was almost null and void until I mentioned that maybe he should patch that up. I guess he took my advice and did it.

So we would skype while he was up there but something was off. We would be on cam and then all the sudden he would end the call and vanish. He would be very abrupt and be like I gotta go and just log off then come back 10-15 minutes later. This kept happening too. I couldn't figure it out but it was highly suspicious to me. When that happened I brought it up and of course me being my Gemini self I told him exactly what I thought. I didn't trust him. No sir. Because what is the logical reason someone would do that? There are only....well one in my mind.

He got upset told me he couldn't deal with me being so suspicious and we just stopped talking. Here we are 2 months later and Im thinking ok the only reason he wouldn't log in would be if his computer blew up or they lost it in shipping when they shipped it back to his house in CA. Yes. He shipped his desktop to his dad's in Chicago because hes that INTO the game. So you see what im saying? For him not to sign in is like when hell freezes over. Mind you he won't get a cellphone but he magically finds $ 400 to ship his computer back and fourth.

Im a little worried to say the least. Or maybe just more over want to know what the F is going on. I feel like he was seeing someone in Chicago (maybe). Because hell he wouldnt even get a plane ticket to come back to our state just to see me so why would he do it for some other random girl?

Having a hard time with this lately. Id like to get other Gem's opinions on this one.

Feel also like I've been having a super hard time with life in general lately. I thought April was supposed to be awesome for us? Last night I was pretty upset about a few things that happened. And today im very quiet. So people are hovering knowing something is wrong.

As a gamer girl myself, I know what you mean him shipping his computer back and forth to actually keep playing. (I don't know what you play but missing a raid is serious business lol)

Back to Scorp: Same thing happened to me with one. He too didn't had a phone, acted suspicious and like there was someone else.
Or so I thought..
But I think it's just how Scorpios are.
So cautious about relationships they appear shady when they're not.
Although the phone thing, I never understood. But he said he didn't need one and I just went with it.

If I were you I would try to contact him. It'd show him that you care and wonder what's wrong, and if he doesn't reply or talk to you. F him! move on and be happier 🙂

You actually kind of sound like the scorpio here 🙂

Honestly, it sounds like your suspicions are right and it sounds like he's done with you. Sorry. I'm not sure if that's what you want to hear. It may not have occurred to you there was an issue if you didn't spend a consistent amount of face to face time with him, and now it's boiled over. But you did the right thing by being honest and upfront with him, I think.

I've done this before. Sometimes, we Scorpios can simply just give up and move on. We'll completely change things about our life to accommodate moving on too. And we can be dead crazy serious about it too if we want to change hard enough. And I think you being bluntly honest with him triggered this. But it's likely for the better for both of you.

Of course, he could call you out of the blue one day when your least expecting it...

WRP - Im not sure but you probably arent familiar with all the posts I made about him back when I first joined. Him vanishing and showing back up is NOT uncommon. Lulls for 6 months then he comes back with a crazy idea that he is SO INTO ME. Im like okay? But where were you six months ago? Never really can tell me why he does what he does.

I play WOW. And yeah he was/is in a top 10 world guild and all the sudden vanishes from the game? Something really bad either happened or his computer got lost in the shipment back that is the ONLY logical thing that could happen. No way he would walk from the game.

I know sometimes I wonder if it's just me being suspicious? Because maybe he wasnt but to constantly hang up on me? And vanish/run off? Mid convo? I got so mad about it. Because it looks so well SUSPICIOUS! Yeah but I dont get it no phone? And oh I dont have money for this or that and ships his computer $ 400!!! Right there! But its like sometimes I wondered if he just lied about having a phone so he didnt have to waste his minutes cause hes cheap. I guess maybe if I was a computer he would have paid more attention to me!

I dunno, Xin..... It could be many things really, but the only alternative I can think of is maybe it's hard for him to skype while dad's in the room. After all, he is trying to patch things with him and it may be a rocky issue between them. Say like, dad is an incredibly negative person, he's embarrassed and doesn't want you to see, or become victim to, his negativity. Like I said... That's the only thing i can think of other than hiding a new girl from you, or hiding you from the new girl...

Yeah I know misslissa. I guess we could speculate constantly. But still I asked him if his dad was home and he said no. So that rules that out.

Ah. Yea I guess you're right.... I would try to contact him out of concern, tho... Even if he doesn't respond, you at least tried.

I think it's really odd that a Scorpio would end things because you're suspicious. As very suspicious people themselves, they tend to understand that sort of thing. I also find it odd that he doesn't seem to be being straight with you. Scorps seem to generally just throw the truth out there for you to take it or leave it.

I'm not really helping you any, I guess...just musing.

Yeah I don't get it either but I think it's his whole like persona. I guess it doesn't help that his moon is in Capricorn. He keeps quiet, stares like hell, and just really doesn't share a lot with me. I know that it's really weird how he just up and leaves like that. But I've read that the push/pull is definitely a water sign issue. However I'm sure he was being truthful, can dish it out but can't take it.

Sure it was. It was possibly the worst experience of my life. I will forever avoid you Gemini girls like a plague of locusts with hemorrhoids. Even if it was totally my fault, I'm never doing this crap again!

Regarding OP: yea, it'll be nice if you contacted and found out what went wrong. no harm in knowin why he's kept away from his fav gaming site in like two months. So did you already contact him yet? or are you still wondering whether or not.

ZZZ - I'm not sure if I should really. Originally he contacted me last through a different email because he forgot his other password so im not sure if I should do anything at all. Things aren't really that great in my love life department. All I am meeting are Scorpios and one cowardly Lion (Leo) that I just stopped talking to. He had a venus/mars in Cancer talk about spineless. No thank you.
