Why am I attracting so many Cancers??

I need help with this. What am I doing to attract these emotional creatures? At least 5 this year.

I don't know what it is about Cancers that I love so much. I just do. Lucky you!!! Cancers are amazing. If only I could understand them better...

@Geminibunny what is it that you love about them. I have know the to be a bit insecure and emotional. Has that been your experience?

Oh yea they are very insecure and emotional. But I've dealt with so many cancer friends since I was a teen and they've all pretty much prepared me for this one guy I'm dealing with right now.

I also had to let go of a very abusive friendship with a Capricorn who had the same issues with insecurity but with more toxic emotional manipulation. I felt like I had gone through psychological warfare after that one was over. This Cancer happened to come into my life after the abusive Cap went away and he is so much gentler with my emotions and lets me say or feel however I want to feel without getting hostile on me or attacking me for even feeling at all. But this Cancer doesn't like talking about his emotions since for him they are so strong he shuts down and goes into hiding for a while.

I used to think it was me and my problem that was causing this behavior in him but it's not me. It's just the way he deals and copes with it all. Learning this has helped me see things in a different perspective and so I try not to take it personally every time I'm feeling ignored or neglected.

But it is hard work to overcome this. A lot of women who deal with men who disappear either get their confidence shattered and walk or they'd wait it out and deal with it. Usually I'd say walk and run far away if you can't deal with the insecurities and emotions so that means he's just not the right one for you.

I do have to admit that whenever he gets insecure and emotional and goes into hiding mode my confidence would break down a little before I realized why he was doing it. Every time he came back apologetic and sweeter than ever and promising me a whole bunch of stuff I'd feel alright again. So you just gotta figure out if that person is worth it to you to take the time out to care for and to get to the bottom of it. Or are you the type who would protect herself at all costs and walk away. I realized that sticking around and dealing with it actually strengthens me and my confidence level is even higher now than before. So stick it out with a Cancer and you'll see just how amazing and beautiful they can be.

I'm also not the type of person who would try and fix someone like they are broken. To me he isn't damaged or broken or weak. He's just built this way and I would never want to change him in any way. So I must learn to either completely accept him for who he is or just simply walk away.

I used to have that mentality like he's just not that into me if he is willing to ignore or neglect me but that's not always the case with Cancers. He always comes back to me and assures me that he is very much into me.

Oh and to talk about what I love about them I would have to write a book. There are a million things to love about Cancers. Let's see. I'll try and summarize.

They are so nurturing.
They love to cook.
They are great listeners and are very understanding people.
They offer good advice at times. Even if they can't offer advice they'd listen and let you speak your mind.
They can be very patient
The Cancers I know are very hardworking and have good work ethic
They can be so funny
They are willing to take the time to care and listen and to understand me and my quirks
They love to be helpful
They are very sensitive and I like that because if they weren't, I'd have to deal with insensitive pricks like the rest of the folks I know
They can be very affectionate
They are kind
They are caring
They can be very loyal
Sexy as hell

I could go on and on but I'll stop here

Hmm..I am just starting conversations and there are 4 of them. Nothing serious at all but I typically steer clear due to the emotional b.s that they go through. I am not counting them out. I may go out with one of 2 of them to talk face to face to see if I like them. I am currently seeing a Virgo so I am aware disappearing act. I might say that I am used to it. I have been seeing him for several months and have figured out their push and pull. The 2 pull away or go into hiding when their emotions start to come into play.

Yeap. They do that. So typical. After my first bad Virgo experience I've steered clear of them like the plague and so far that has worked out for me. I have a cousin who is a Virgo and he seems to be living in his own cave most of the time. It is very difficult to get him out much, let alone date anyone. He claims to be asexual.

I asked him his sign and when he said Virgo, I tried to walk away. He talked me out of it and I let him. It has been magical every since. He is virgo sun taurus moon venus scorpio mars virgo. I know this match does not work so I keep it very casual. Hence the reason I have time to date a few cancers

I have this Cancer guy who WONT leave me alone.. I keep thinking hes an Aries because of his persistence.. I ignore him and he still finds a way to talk to me LOL

I don't know. I am just not feeling the cancers. They are still around but nothing has come of it. Virgo is still going strong.

It's probably stagnant because you're staying your distance and expecting magic to occur from afar. Stop getting your feet wet and dive in already! You'll find out how deep the water truly is. Open up to a cancer and let the magic begin. :-)

Hey you wanna get rid of a Cancer, it's real easy to do. Couldn't be easier. Just hurt her feelings. Intentionally. She'll be gone like a fart in the wind after she's given you a piece of her mind, of course. Cancers like geminis aren't ones to suffer in silence. But then you're free! No more messy emotions.
