Getting the Foam Rolling...Rolling

My college is hosting an international festival next week, and I will be performing with both my Zumba class and then again with my dance class. The idea is to promote dance/performing arts, and to encourage students to explore their personal expression through physical motion.

Today and on Wednesday was rehearsal (from 1:30PM-4:30PM), and I am feeling the pain. It doesn't help that I have week ankles and, as an Aries, there is no going "half speed." I also worked out on Monday, but I rested Tuesday & Thursday. Tomorrow, I will do yoga.

I'm thinking of getting a foam roller to help me recoup and release all the tension that gets built up in my muscles thanks to the various motions.

Anyone with experience foam rolling? Any advice? Insight? Knowledge on how it's benefited you personally? Cautionary tales? Links to the foam roller you enjoy?
