Can you please tell me how it's possible for 1 person to actually be 6?

I'm talking about CB. AKA Suzy-Q, Aqua 2, Sunflower, Wonderbox, Lady-Virgo. No doubt I'm missing quite a few I just got exhausted cross referencing them all PHEW!!

Sounds like he's either a one man/woman board IMO. But still since no duplicate addresses are allowed why hasn't this mistake(?) been caught? Has he been using multiple PCs of friends to create IDs? This is the only way I can see this as to being possible?

Oh my God. Okay I'm just going to be really honest here and sorry Suzy-Q, but I am really upset with you. I can't believe that you are all these people. At first I thought you were just 2 or 3, but now I have figured it out with a lot of research and you're treetrunking like 10 or 12 different treetrunking personalities. That is treetrunked up. I'm pissed. This, in my eyes, is not cool. You have played with all of us. I guess that's what happens when you trust people on the internet. You get treetrunked. My naivete has been my downfall on these boards. I can't even believe this butter.

I'd love to see a list of all the INDIVIDUALS who post on this website. Oooooh, the fury. The more I'm thinking about it, the more pissed off I'm getting.

I have a "short" statement that I want to post, please excuse the length.

I take full responsibility for this problem. And it is a problem. I saw what was going on a long time ago and decided to take the slow route of trying to fix it. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to users and really hoped that what I was seeing was wrong.

Having IP addresses showing up, referencing IP addresses to usernames, having voluntary and then mandatory logging in, and then having users submit a valid email address before they can get their password were all things that I tried to stop the problem and these things have brought us to today.

All of the "questionable" accounts were created before email addresses were required. I say "questionable" because I still hope in some way that this is somehow a mistake. But, it really doesn't look that way.

The Internet isn't 100% foolproof and that needs to be understood by all who use it, but there also needs to be a great deal of trust, espicially in a community situation, otherwise this site and the Internet would wither away.

I don't know if there are any hard and fast things that I can do to totally guarantee that people are who they say they are. I watch the boards closely and now more aggressively. It's not something I want to do, but this website means a lot to me and I want it to succeed, and this includes the message boards.

If anyone suspects something funny is going on, if someone feels that they are being targetted, if someone feels offended by a message, please please please let me know. There are about 50,000 links on this website to send an email and I will do what I can to fix the situation. I'm as impartial and fair as I know how, but if you feel different let me know so I can adjust my thinking.

I would love to go back to not having to read every message that gets posted, I would love to go back to not having to question who posted what, I would love to go back to not requiring people log in. But, unfortunately we can't always get what we wish for.

I am not giving up on these boards or this site -- far from it. This just means a redoubling of my efforts to make this a website that people want to go to and enjoy doing so.

Dxpnet. Wow. You have no idea how much I (and saggie probably) needed to hear all of that. I am so upset, but you know what? It's really not your fault. I'm sure this kind of thing happens all the time on other websites. Some people are just really, REALLY screwed up and are determined to be creepy weirdos who thrive on stirring it up. I honestly feel a lot better after reading what you just posted. Thank you so much for doing so much to keep this a good place to be. I am sure it was quite disturbing for you to see this unfolding, slowly. And I think you went about things in the right way. You took the slow, cautious method and were nice enough to give the benefit of the doubt to this person. That was the right thing to do. I don't think anyone is mad at you, directly. We just feel totally swindled and blindsided. Okay I'm going to go cry now because I feel like the biggest idiot in the universe. lol. I'm just kidding. It's all just very disturbing. You are doing everything right dxp. I feel that you are taking care of everything the best way possible. *clicks heels together repeating, "there's no place like home". lol. Yes, I think they are too. I will not cry. I will just be smarter from now on. Everything is a learning experience. With you here to protect us from this kind of butter, I am confident that in time everything will be okay. Last night I sent an email to dxpnet.com asking that you be praised for your work here, which is ironic because now that I know that you've been watching this madness unfold for some time, and how weird of a place that must have put you in, it makes the email seem even more appropriate. I'm so glad you're not giving up, you are definitely needed around here.

Star, I counted 15 personalities too, but guess what...we could be wrong. DXP has been working on figuring out if the same IP addresses indicates it's the same person, and he's come up with the "very likely" possibility that our own ISPs could be "reusing" other people's IP numbers. Of course, nobody (I don't think) realized that, so, we might have thought this whole thing was more widespread than it is. I don't know. In my mind, even 2 "personalities" is one too many for me, but whatever. And she had 4. Anyway just thought I would update you if you didn't see what dxp said on the other boards.

Aqua 2, I wrote that message before you and I worked things out yesterday. So it's not like what you said didn't make sense to me or I listened and then ran over here and posted what I posted here. I will not get in the middle of you and Star or you and Saggie but I'm just telling you that my post in here was way before you and I communicated on the Taurus board last night.

And I'm glad you express how you feel--that's a good thing. I don't think I was being dramatic about the crying thing because I really did want to cry a few days ago when all this first started.

I haven't deceived anyone, to my recollection...sorry but that is not a true statement. Also, I have apologized about sixteen million times now to every single person who shouldn't have been on that list Aqua...I thought we had gotten this worked out(?). So you are now going to go to all the other boards and say that I'm being dramatic and this and that? You have no idea how I felt after learning about the deception--and I wasn't being dramatic, I was being honest (in a one on one conversation with dxpnet by the way, not running around to all the other boards yapping about being upset)...

No, Phoenix I dont think you are being as honest as you claim to be. First you told me that you knew all along about me, but you said you didnt want to blow my cover. Now you are saying that you are crushed because I decived you—? I never knew you and I were attached to one another. I dont know what is going on with you and your life right now, but I suspect you are having a hell of a battle with it. I didnt set out to deceive any of you and it wasnt about any of you. I knew you were at least 2 different names but only suspected you could be three, which annoyed me, but to find out you were four, yeah, that irked me a great deal. Don't talk to me about honesty, because I have always been honest on the boards. Always. It doesn't matter to me anymore to be perfectly honest, I'm so over it, you can do what you want, and you don't need anyone's permission. I had put the issue to rest until Aqua brought it up on here again. I had to respond to her, which is not your problem.

And sorry if you're tired of hearing about it, so am I! I was sick of the issue the first day it came up. But, there were apologies I had to make to people and that's why it had to drag on longer.

i have to say this is intersting. does life imate art or art imate life? Does having a personilty on the internet act as what one would call an art. I have to say to whatever u name is i would suggest a field that requerises many alias. i myslef us many alias in the outer world. But not on here of course. I find that many names help idfentify with the many personalites or how me as how i'm viewed by the world. Just saying i uderstand. But don't go and treetrunk with people's head's like that. it's not good to do that on a website or beyond this loney barrien land of plastic and wires. and to DXP ur great. don't beat ur self up over this. U remind of my dad who will take and take but will in the end fix the prombelm. I belive u do this in relly life also. even though this is the net. and such can not be so. But u will by when the digets do change to show the day by day. U will improve such ways of this to stop. And another thing. why not a little link to history and of DXP and u ur self as the creator see the man behind the mask. Have fun. What was this all about?

A true psychopath screwing with everyone and while she succeeded at pulling the wool over our collective eyes in the short term, her ultimate failure stemmed from her absolute lack of common sense and inability to control her childlike emotional outbursts.

She went primarily by the name of Suzy-Q on the boards until the rest of us started to notice something fishy going on when a bunch of "new" usernames started joining our discussions. Names like "Your Mother", "Sunflower", "Nice_Slut", etc (the list goes on forever). These other personalities just seemed too much like Suzy-Q to be anyone else. The spelling errors and grammatical errors were the same, and the religious fervor/preaching was the same, and the crappy advice was the same. I actually liked Suzy for a short time when I first started posting, but her weirdness became too much for us all. She wasn't just having fun, either...I'm talking about seriously insulting posts, regular flaming of other users, insulting dxpnet (the moderator), basically telling people they were going to burn in hell for all kinds of reasons, blah blah blah. First we all collectively tried to ignore her, but then we all got sick of her butter and wouldn't take it anymore and called her on her lies, her deception with the umpteen million different usernames, and her preaching (and for someone who claims to be so devoutly religious, you would be shocked to have seen some of the things she said). It all finally ended (thankfully to dxpnet) one night back in December I think when everything came to a head and she started fighting hardcore with a bunch of us (but I felt it was mostly me...no skin off my nose, though, because I can take her anytime, anywhere) and also insulted dxpnet, she was finally banned totally and completely from posting on this site. And that says a LOT, because dxpnet tries to never ban someone or delete a posting. I was ready to leave this site entirely forever if she wasn't going to be banned, because why would I want to keep returning to a place where I (and my posting companions) are constantly being insulted and verbally harrassed? So I was glad that dxpnet banned her. I don't believe in banning just because someone's annoying, but I do believe in banning when it comes down to harrassment and racial/sexual orientation/religious slurs (which she also flung on a regular basis). It isn't fair to the rest of the posting community who follow the unspoken rules and try to keep this place enjoyable and clean and all that good stuff. You know, I just felt like why should I and everyone else have to suffer so that she can run her butterty mouth off all the time? And mind you that she had gotten away with a lot of stuff for about seven months before it became intolerable. It was time for her to go. What's funny is that even after she was banned she kept trying to post under new, different usernames...what's hilarious is that we ALL caught on IMMEDIATELY, including dxpnet. I am just glad that I didn't have to leave the site because of this and I'm glad that she's gone, the boards are a MUCH more enjoyable, fun place now.

And I forgot to mention that not only did she have a million different personalities, but she also had made up backstories for all of them about their "lives". I believe "Your Mother" was a mother of three who had fantastic breasts and dressed like a slut and was proud of it (or something like that)--Suzy's words, not mine. Pathetic, sad, so sad and pathetic. And each personality was a psycho, she would be sugary sweet one second, and the next second she'd be like a rabid dog with her hatred and such. Sigh. What's awesome is that now, because we all know how she posts and how to recognize her, she will never be able to come here again without people/dxpnet knowing it's her, unless she magically morphs into a semblance of a normal person, which will never happen.

In conclusion I'd like to add that while I have no intention or desire to foster a sentiment of distrust among the regular posters here toward new posters, I will say that all of us would be wise to watch our backs, so to speak, when a new poster comes along. I am always nice to new posters in an effort to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my personal method of greeting them usually involves sitting back for the first few times they post so that I can be sure I'm not being screwed with again. And nine times out of ten I am positive it's not Suzy-Q. By the way, if you're curious, her latest incarnation was called "soshy60", and if we had a search capability on this site it would be very convenient to locate her posts, but since we don't, if you have spare time and you're curious, go back through and read her posts if you can find them. You'll get a small taste of the joy of this Suzy character.

And FYI: a good indication that something strange is going on is that her fake personalities will come on and almost immediately begin trying to flirt with all the men on this site, who thankfully are intelligent enough to know what's going on and don't really respond to it. Again, I say this not to foster a sentiment of distrust, but to protect everyone from being sucked into her pit of negativity once again.
