Thinkers——?

Can someone let me in on the Aqua mind?

Are you "thinkers?". I have this male friend and boy does he like to talk! About everything! He is always thinking...I have a feeling that if he doesn't just live and enjoy the moments that his brain is going to burn up. When do they rest? Oh my goodness. He questions everything...does not like the unknown and is upset when he cannot understand the unknown....

Just asking.....just wondering....thanks.

Female Aqua here...I agree with CB! I almost always multitask...sometimes, I drive myself nuts!

But, sometimes I feel like I suffer from sensory overload...and need a quiet break with just nature and me! I can sit peacefully and quietly enjoying nature...but, my brain never ceases...
as you say, 'He questions everything'...

I am continually questioning and learning also! Aquas like to feel like they 'know'. We love trying to figure EVERYTHING out! (whew! what a task!!) I suppose that would make it seem that we are conceited...but, not so...just absent-minded at times...because we were thinking of something else!!

We are very soft hearted and care about everyone's well-being. Cancers are the mothers of society and we are the fathers...(so it is said).... Being a masculine sign and ruling more from the head than from the heart (as Cancer does)...however, we do have hearts! We are just afraid of our emotions (at times)...give us an intellectually stimulating conversation and we are completely satisfied...throw love into the picture and our confidence quavers...we feel vulnerable and weak (we hate feeling weak!)

Am I rambling? Sorry!
That is another thing we do...we ramble! And, we expect others to follow our train of thought...truthfully, in person, that can be a difficult task...because we will start a conversation with a sentence that seems out of the blue to the listener...but, not to us...we have been thinking about this topic all day!!

Yes, you have given me some insight. I so enjoy talking with my friend as we can talk about anything and talk for hours. He gets so frustrated with himself because he cannot "understand" something. He wants so bad to "know" everything and understand it and I can see how this is taking up so much of his energy and special moments in life.

I have learned that in life, I do not understand anything. There is no way for me to completely understand another human being, only to accept him/her for who they are and respect them.

I was just wondering that is all....his air sign fuels my fire sign.

I know exactly what you are saying about the absent- mindedness. You just described my very Aquarian mother, who never finishes a complete thought or sentence. I just fill in the blanks and sometimes it works and sometimes it is pretty amusing but never is it dull! She is just too busy to get everything she wants or needs done all in 24 hours...and I am always asking questions so you can imagine the confusion!!!

I think that when a person thinks they do 'know' everything...it causes learning to stop...
It is more important for me to learn than to 'know'...

I act in the same manner, but I'm not a aqua, I'm a gemini...it must be something in the air. The funny thing about is my aqua friend thinks I'm so crazy and throwed off (ok, only to an extent). I try to explain to him he's just as touched as I am even though he trys to fight it. He's hilariously funny as well as crazy, I guess that's what attracts me to him.

I do think the Air quality does do that! Some of my Gem friends do seem to be more absent-minded than I am!! LOL!
My Gem friends all act similar to me...it is like we have a connection that only we understand!! Same as my Aqua friends...
But, my Gem friends are actually more light-hearted or something than I am (I love that in them!...sometimes, my seriousness weighs on me...)...they are perhaps more moody, also, (sometimes)...but no big! I love my Gem friends!! I wouldn't give them up! Ever!

I am an Aries...My aqua friend and I had a great time yesterday playing around. We can just say whatever we want and it is so refreshing. I'm kinda missing him today as yesterday was so much fun. He says he really enjoys the unpredictability that I have. Yep, that would be me, says he never knows what is going to happen but whatever it is, it is FUN! Air does fuel the fire sign....what keeps you guys interested?

There is definitely a connection between gems and aquas. Sometimes my friends will do the weirdest things and everyone will sit around asking why would a person do that, and I for some strange reason will know why they did it, even if it's something that I wouldn't have neccesarily done myself. And get this, I will then go and support then in it. You can't blame a person for following their heart or fighting for something they believe in.

Aries is very good with Aquarius, IMO. So is Sagittarius. Leo is usually too self-centered or something for it to become much...

What keeps us interested? Good question. I think Aqua guys are harder to keep than the females...and even then, the word 'keep' makes me cringe (and I am the one using it! LOL!)
This is what I know of myself and other Aquas regarding love:
We are faithful. We love the shared memories that make us smile. We love the element of surprise! (Sounds like you are doing well with all of this!) I think the main thing that makes an Aqua run the other way is being chased too hard or too fast! (The main reason I have never dated a Scorpio more than once...they chase too hard from the get-go!! At least the ones I dated 'once' did!)

I am currently in love with an Aqua man. What do I do? I let him lead...when it comes to certain things, (the love area) ...I do feminine things that normally an Aqua girl could care less about! (I will wear makeup, my hair up and a cute little dress...even though I don't know what we are doing for sure...I just make sure I am comfortable in the cute little dress...in case we are going to play baseball!! j/k I also bring a change of clothes!) I didn't do this until it was established that we were only seeing each other...I guess I needed to show him that I can look good...I just don't care about that kind of stuff. (He asked me once what I thought my best quality was...my answer: My Brain!) I am always up for anything...can go at a moment's notice. I never pressure him about his feelings about me or try to drag words of love from his mouth. If I do wonder something, I ask him straight out though. That is how I found out he was seeing only me and wanted it that way!! I have learned to look for small signs...if they are happy, they smile a lot...sometimes it is just a hint of a smile, like a slight crinkle around the eyes. If he was stressed out by you, he wouldn't continue to see you! They say an Aqua male is slow to fall in love...
I can see that mine is falling...but, it has been 1 year and 8 months...it is cool with me that he doesn't shower me with the words of love, his actions show it!
I have helped him with various tasks around his place...potting plants into planters, putting hedges in, pruning trees, putting a new screen door on, cleaning the pool, tearing apart an old fence to get it ready for the new fence...I also do dishes (sometimes) and dust (sometimes)...I helped him get his place ready for Thanksgiving last year (the day of! He procrastinates!! LOL!) He cooked the turkey and I did the stuffing, the gravy and desert (other family did the rest). Oh yeah, I find out what his favorite foods are and I make them for him! If he likes to cook, I help...
I tease him all I want...but, I never criticize him. If something really bugs me, I ask him about it straight out.

I don't know if I gave insight for sure or not...I just know that we are a for sure couple (me and my Aqua). Lucky that the rest of our charts are different! We share the Sun sign...but, all of the rest is different.

I do know what you mean by 'krazy'! I would have to say that the last Aqua guy I knew well (before my current) was also very crazy! Funny guy! Aren't all air signs tempermental? Well, at least gems and aquas. I think I'm rather quick tempered at times. Tell you the truth I don't know why I'm that way. Growing up ppl always tried to mold to be what they wanted me to be, so now I find being very defensive, as I try to preserve who I really am. We gems also have a hard time taking criticism. We're an air sign, we were born knowing it all, or so we think.
Goodness, somebody really has to do something about this air.

What do Aqua's do when they are upset? I have a "feeling" that my aqua friend is upset...there is something different going on here. He normally calls me all the time and I haven't heard from him. I have left him a message and nothing yet. So, back to my question, what do they do? Do they go off and be quiet? Do they get upset easily? Can they just end a relationship? (I know anyone can which means it wasn't much of one anyway). Thanks for your help and understanding.

Yes, they probably launched you and are flying off themselves so they can make a more secure landing! Good relationships dont end, and you would never have to ask this question if you understood what a relationship is all about! Trust and honesy and integrity, communication is what makes a relationship strong. Not leaving messages or asking advice on an astrology boards etc.

I can relate to what you are saying. I am not quick-tempered...but, I can become defensive when I feel a pull from someone and also feel the need to preserve who I am. I also find that when someone bugs me...I do not keep my mouth shut about it...as perhaps I should...
I, too, think that Aquas have a hard time with criticism. This is an area that I have been trying to be more accepting of...

The best thing to do, Freebird, is to ask him what is going on with him yourself, in person.

I don't think I can answer with blanket statements about what an Aqua does when they are upset. There are too many variables...the trigger, how they deal with stress, nurturing (how they were raised), etc....

Most Aquas do not like to fight...Linda Goodman has said that Aquas fight best with their hats...they put it on and walk away.

However, I do not do that. (I used to...) I have learned to confront and work toward resolution, especially when the relationship is important to me!!

There are some who have been able to make me laugh even when I am angry...other Air signs and the occasional Fire sign...
Not that this should be tried...it has to occur by accident...
It is more a statement of the truth that strikes me as funny despite my anger...
I am not angry often. Most often I am very easy going and full of fun!

Just to update you on my aqua friend...he did call back last night and we had a great time talking and laughing. No problems, we worked them out...and it was fun! I needed all the laughs and he did as well. I do feel that conflicts sure can be a good way to bring relationships closer and deeper. I love learning how to communicate with him. Never a dull moment and he really lights my fire!

Thanks for your insight on aqua's....I know that no one truly has the answers to our questions....if we listen closely enough to our heart, there is where we will find the answers.

A good part of the time those gears are churning out both normal and abnormal thoughts, rewriting existing laws or doctrines, questioning everything between mundane everyday ettiquette to the words of Jesus Christ himself. Death, existence, anger, fear, joy, and the rest of the human condition are examined.
Often my thoughts are about either relationship issues or God and His word (or both at once sometimes). Sometimes my thinking is of ways to stop my thoughts. To unwind down at the end of the day I drink beer, smoke cigarettes, and make nude figure drawings of female warriors, princesses, slavegirls, nymphettes, or innocent young ladies soaking up the sun in my hardbound sketchbook.
Many times my thoughts are of what my next adventure will be. Of all the seemingly endless possibilities and choices that exist in our world. With exhaustive thought I finally come to a conclusion and embark upon that concept.
Thinking of all the funny things we have and or do in this world. Why things are deemed important when they really aren't all that important. If there is a such thing as true love. Heaven and hell. Why we have to live in such a callous society. Why morals, manners, and good taste have all but disappeared from the common equation.
Sometimes the thinking takes shape in the form of hoping or wishing. I guess you could call it dreaming. Why can't dreams be real? Why can't friends be true? Why is it so hard to find somebody to communicate with? Why do all good things have to come to an end?

I really like your thoughts....so very interesting. Yes, life does get us to "wonder" about things. I used to wonder a lot and now...I have come to the conclusion that life just happens as it should with no rhyme nor reason...it just IS! This planet is a very exciting place to be...sort of like a Giant Toy Store...ya think? Imagine all the stuff we have to play with here on this planet...the creating that we have the ability to do...the dreams that become reality (what ever that is). I even think that life is nothing but a dream. We experience and then, *POOF* it is gone...the moment is gone forever only to live on in our thoughts which can be our own dream. Ah....I learn so much from being here. So glad I was chosen to experience life on this planet. Truly, the best gift one could have.

Well, it could be you, yourself, are not helping the situation. You are starting at a place of defeatism and where do you have to go— Really you have to change your mind set in order to make anything come through for you. I will share with you a message, I do believe!!! These are the words of Jesus Christ himself.

"Have faith in God, Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does NOT DOUBT in his heart, but BELIEVES that what he say WILL come to pass, it WILL be done for him! Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, BELIEVE that you WILL receive it, and you WILL!"

In other word, there is nothing that you cannot acheive or have, if you believe it and want it bad enough it will be done! You must have faith in yourself and God.

Hi Star,

Thank you for concern for my wifes health. She is feeling better but is still very susceptable to any bug that is floating around.
My creative juices are flowing indeed. The bands are doing well. The big band just performed two shows downtown for very appreciative audiences and the combo just cut a demo. My beginning art classes are filled to capacity but seem to be moving along fairly well. The art II class is teaming with creativity. It pretty much runs itself.
It was good hearing from you Star. How are things with you?

Things are good. I suppose they can always be better, can't they?!
But, yes, overall...things are good! My love life is stable, my daughter and I talk! regularly! (she is 14...you see why the exclamation points...LOL!) My health is good. My parents' health is good. I like my job. The only thing I would like more of is time! (Oh, and money, of course!! LOL!)
